I told my mom and she was suprised...I gotta call my friends and tell them....Axl Rose was on a message board...answering questions. Still a WTF thing . I'm a comic book fan so seeing Rose made me tell comics fans , this would be like Alan Moore showing up and taking questions under a handle . You just never picture it happening.

I feel like such a moroon . I mean the best question I get thru is people covering his music. I'm happy he answered it bit damn if I'm not wanting to punch myself. I wish he had answered the "Catcher in the Rye" demo question. I always loved the slow fading of the song that doesn't end.

Too bad even he tries to to this in a "secretively" manner, someone in the media will definitely take advantage of this.
What was really nice, and necessary, that he cleared up the messed up "artwork"(which some people said was awesome) and the "monumental" campaign.
Anyhow, I personally think this is ten times better then doing interviews to RS etc.
btw. I feel sorry for Dexter's PM inbox.

me for example... lol. i haven't checked the boards in like 4 days and this is what i miss??? lol. amazing. it's good to hear directly from him. i think Axl's aura is mysterious... that makes him Axl. But i know it must've been out of his comfort zone to talk to fans directly. it's nice to know... really NICE to know he cares about what FANS are saying. not fucking critics. if you read this... thanks Axl. it's nice to hear from you... and I speak for MANY gunners when I say... We LOVE hearing from you. can't wait for the new covers... give me more versions of CD... i'll buy em. If Better (the video) is released... than we could see CD climp up again. This album deserves monumental advertising/campaigning... because it's a fucking monumental record in every sense of the word. Just hope MTV pulls their heads out of the ass and start playing MUSIC again. ... btw... i can't believe Slash and Duff are upto their old tricks again. It's shit like this that delayed the whole thing in the first place. |
