Axl,

Is your Enzo currently your fastest car, or have you purchased a Veryon or anything like that? I turbocharge cars for a living, so I kinda know a little about your need for speed, ha. I currently have a ZO6 Corvette that makes about 850 HP.

Hi..... W...Axl...Rose

Wow, this is so surreal... I've followed your work for a third of my life, you're one of my heroes. Actual love and respect to you, you've played a huge part in my life and have helped me through a lot.

One question; Are you happy with Chinese Democracy, the final product? Or was it put out against your will (as suggested by the mistakes in the booklet lyrics)?

One more question; I've just finished reading Mick Wall's book about you. He seems to paint a more negative picture of you as time progresses toward present day- is this indicative of your relationship with him? unsure.gif Any hard feelings?

Dexter/Axl,

A couple years ago Trent Reznor and some of the guys of NIN were posting pics on nin.com with several Axl/GN'R references.

If I remember right, one was with the NIN boys standing in front of a dressing room with a Chinese Democracy sign hanging over the door.  Another was NIN in the studio, and in a mirror you could see a glimpse of the top of your head wearing a blue bandana (ala 2002), and a third was a shot of the band playing live with Buckethead hidden in the crowd.

Wondering if you had any knowledge of this going on and/or do you have an opinion of what it might've meant?

Thank you for hanging with us and congrats on Chinese Democracy!  Awesome to have you back!

+1

i was just going to ask the same  Wink

Axl, what do you think of the double edged sword that is the leaks?

One the one hand, the leaks kept the fans interested over the many years, but on the other hand it allowed most of us to hear a good chunk of the album before it was ready.

You think we could stop all questions and maybe Axl just has open reign... Some of the questions have been beaten into the ground.

Hi Axl,

Have you been surprised or disappointed by critical reaction to the album? To a certain extent do you think critics had made their mind up and were never going to give it a chance? Personally I found the whole 'it wasn't worth 14 years' argument absurd and this tended to be something we only heard on the more rushed/one-listen-reviews. It seemed to me like the people who actually gave it a chance found (at the very least) something of merit in the album. It's not an easy first listen and it was always going to take time to digest. Do you think history will treat it better? To use your words it's a melting pot and I think there is something for everyone and maybe not everything for everyone.

I think it's a great album and thanks for breaking curfew at Leeds 2002. The mid-November Rain rant will be remembered until the day I die. Manchester 2006 was even better. Thank you!

Jarmo, do you know the reason behind the name Dexter? Is he a fan of the show (on Showtime)? Just curious...No need to reply if the reason is deemed private/personal.
Could be because of the guy from The Offspring, too... but I'd rather it be the TV show.  ok

The show and my cat named after the show, she's a methodical killer.

He replied to my post earlier that it's about the serial killer. He named his cat after it.
Hahahaha, really good, thanks friend

Axl,

Thanks for taking the time to talk with your fans.

Any artists out there that you haven't worked with and would like to?
Any new artists (musical/visual/watever) that you're especially diggin' right now?
Why 3 guitars? Makes it so hard to achieve a clear live mix!

Thanks,

Brian

"You're putting a gun to my head" "I hate it when you put a gun to my head" "Don't ever fucking put a gun to my head". A quote from Mr. Howard Hughes. That gun that he's talking about isn't a real gun of course..its a request to do something agaagainst your heart...

A funny story...

On a recent visit to my house, my mother-in-law tucked my five year old son into bed.  On her way out of the room he yelled, "Grandma, don't forget to turn my Guns N' Roses CD on!!!".  The look on her face was priceless.  I wish I could have that same effect on the old bat.

Also, I teach Physical Education at an Elementary School and played Scrapped for a music game.  The kids loved it!!!
