Don't know if you saw my post from the other place, but I've spoken w/ Ted Jensen at length about his issues with regard to mastering the new Metallica and the pressures he felt from Rubin, etc...I want to personally thank you for not smashing the shit out of your record, for ignoring fickle trends, and for returning to the concept of dynamics for your album in the year 2008.

axl, question about Lars Ulrich if you don't mind:

i was at the Oakland concert in 06 and Lars played drums in Out Ta Get me, are you guys friends ? i thought there was beef with you and metallica after the 92 tour...

James Hetfield said that Lars is a huuuge Axl fan. Can you blame the guy?  ok

Axl..  hope you take the time to consider my questions..

1.) Was the story true about you helping put out a fire at your neighbor's house in Malibu during the fires? That was awesome!

2.) What is with all the errors in the CD booklet?

3.) Why no video for Chinese Democracy?

Axl,
Just went through a tough personal time in my life and I wanted to say thank you for Chinese Democracy. "This I Love" specifically. It put into words things I was only feeling, I always said If I had the opportunity to say thanks I would. So thanks, and for all of the negative comments you read or hear there are 100's of people like me, like us, that support you and sometimes can relate to what you have been/gone through. Don't let them get you down. And thank you again.

Los Angeles loves you!

After listening to Prostitute, I know why you laughed at us at the Gibson show when we did the Prostitute chant.

"It's been played on every show on the tour via November Rain you Downloading Motherfuckers!!"

The surprises never stop with you, we are always on the edge of our seats.

Can't wait for what is next.

Hey Axl do you have any other artistic passions outside of music? Also, how much time of the year is "fire fighter" listed as one of your job titles?

I just wanted to also say that I seen you in 06 in Ames... amazing show... I yelled at you late after the show was over... thanks for the bow and goodbye... hah. Also I would like to know since I was in the front row if you heard me yell, "Down On The Farm" 80 times... hah. This is to clear up if I was loud enough. Hope to see you on tour again sometime soon and if you ever want some free graphics done gimme a call... hah.

Hi, Dex, This is the Obama guy from MyGnr...I was also front row at Ames, Iowa '06 with HBK CVH screaming for you to play 'Down at the Farm'...Its just seemed fitting you know...We hate the midwest...I'd like to think you didn't play it just to spite us!!!!!!! Joking....But....Really...Come on...

Axl -

Thank you for everything. I really don't know what else to say. I've been waiting for "Chinese Democracy" for a long time, and to finally have it come out and be as amazing as it is, is truly a surreal moment for me. The album is amazing and I'm glad that you were able to show all of the haters and critics a giant middle finger with it's release. This is timeless stuff, and I thank you again for it.

Axl will you tour Australia next year, and when are you looking at doing so?

If you could work with buckethead again, would you have him just in studio, or also would you welcome him in the touring lineup?

Hey Axl,

great to hear of you. One question regarding future releases: One of the greatest wishes of most people here (I assume) is to see and hear more of the stuff that happened behind closed doors over the years. And I don't mean the ugly stuff, I mean the cool band stuff - backstage footage from the tours, interviews with the guys, talking bout the music - stuff like that.

Since there ist some footage circulating (Lush Productions, 4mins or so), here the question: Is it planned to release anything of that kind in the near future - maybe a DVD?

Thank you!

Axl,
Minnesota fan here.  Thanks for taking time to talk with the fans.  Thank you for the album.  Honestly, I think it's "epic."  What guitar parts do you play on the album and who is Shackler?  And Superbowl champs, who do you got?  Keep doing what you do.  Thanks again.
