Analysis: Press Largely Ignored Incendiary Rhetoric at Bush Protest
News outlets that are focusing on the incendiary rhetoric of conservatives outside President Obama's town hall meeting Tuesday ignored the incendiary rhetoric -- and even violence -- of liberals outside an appearance by former President George W. Bush in 2002.

What? You think the left-wing media who are completely on board with this asshole who's in office would post a column of this nature showing the absolute hypocrisy? I don't think so! They're too busy with their mouths wide open swallowing the diarrhea flowing out of this administration's ass as fast as it comes out.

Thanks for posting the article Bodhi.  ok

Obama approval rating hits new low of 47%

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 29% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8 (see trends).
Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter is feeling the heat of the health care debate. He now trails Republican Pat Toomey by double digits in an early look at the potential 2010 race. Two months ago, Specter led by double digits. Most Pennsylvania voters oppose the Congressional health care reform effort. Also, Specter?s lead is shrinking in his Democratic Primary match-up with Congressman Joe Sestak.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.
Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. That?s the lowest level of total approval yet recorded. The President?s ratings first fell below 50% just a few weeks ago on July 25. Fifty-two percent (52%) now disapprove.

I think Obama maybe should've waited till 2nd term to tackle this. I think ending the War in Iraq and the Economy should've been the main focus.

Obama has great intentions it just seems he has his hand in so many things, nothing gets done.

good point.

he makes healthcare a defining issue for this year, but puts it in the hands of Congress....whose approval ratings were what....30%??? great move....they have the public's trust!  Roll Eyes and then the administration wonders why the public isn't suporting the plan.

the Dems had almost unlimited political capital as of a few months ago. it seems like the tide may be turning, but we won't know for sure until there are actual elections. the dems can fix this, but it would be a shame to have things start shifting the other way so soon.

No, I'm not a "sore loser" or a "racist" which seem to be the top two adjectives to describe those that disagree with the current administration. You can disagree with me, that's okay. I'll respect that.

WOW! And this is only roughly seven months into office. Sounds like a lot of people are already deciding they've had enough.

Wow, a politician who is actually delivering on what the Right liked to call "rhetoric" during the presidential campaign.
If Obama had put healthcare reform "on the back burner," the same people criticizing the president for taking on too many issues would be criticizing him for not doing enough.  Classic.   Smiley

Drew, you're a great American!  Referring to your president as an asshole.  You really should consider pacing yourself.  You may want that vitriol to peak around 2012 with the re-election.  Wink

D, seriously?  He should have waited over 4 years to address health care reform???   Huh

One of the reasons people voted for him. He should just forget about it, because some people are against it!

Jarmo, Barack won on the principals of Hope and Change.  He was different than what we had, period.  He wasn't elected on Policy or Experience.  He is still learing and growing and will make a lot of mistakes, maybe one day he will be a great president.  You can't ignore his numbers are sliding and at this rate would hurt his chances for re-election.  Barcack can turn this around.  I am surprised nobody has coined the nick name "Barackracy Obama" with how much our Government is growing.  I am glad Bush is gone, but I am not yet thrilled Obama is our President and McCain would have been lousy too.

I guess if I was a Republican I could do that... Or I could just say it really doesn't matter what party you are for, you often times you get the same result.

Yes, I know. He was all about change and now he's working on changing things.

And yet some are surprised?
