Is Barack becoming more of a right winger?

Back to Tribunals?
Not going to release photos?

Just kidding.

I agree with both of these moves and I agree on looking forward.  I also think Harry Reid (with the Yucca Mountain situation) and Pelosi with every situation are killing Barack.  He has some real ass clowns in his party.  Looks like he is noticing and taking corrective action by doing what is right instead of answering to pressure.  2 good judgement moves for Barack this week.  ok

Instead of refuting the 2 idiots in congress is a good move?    IDK...  They are playing a purely political game and it doesn't matter who's in office which is sad.  I do have more respect for the President and less for the two ranking idiots in congress.  They're useless.

Reid and Pelosi are two of the biggest jokes in the history of our Government.  They don't know how much they hurt their party, which is sad.

Just got back from DC

last year at the Cops Ceremony, George Bush not only appeared, but shook the hand of all the survivors. So I was very fucking excited going to Washington

well, it seems Obama would rather meet the Philadelphia Phillies than come to a Memorial for fallen police officers.

I will not vote for Obama in 2012

Obama doesn't support what is important to me so why would I vote for him?

How many sports teams has he met already in 4 months?

Has he done anything yet?

wake me up when he cashes in ONE of those promises.

I just think it is pretty low class when u would rather meet a fucking Major League Baseball team than honor fallen police officers who gave their lives to protect and serve.

how is that selfish on my part?

D, it sounds like you're being completely rational.  "I just think it is pretty low class when u would rather meet a fucking Major League Baseball team than honor fallen police officers who gave their lives to protect and serve."

j/k...are you serious?  Have you thought about contacting the White House and asking for an explanation?  Come on D, you're smarter than this.

The same shit went down on Inauguration night.  Some Ball recognizing recipients of Purple Hearts or Medals of Honor, was not attended by President Obama.  The right-wing rags went nuts questioning his patriotism.  No president since the '40's had missed it.  There was a perfectly good reason he couldn't attend.  The head of the group acknowledged this as well.  Did the right-wing rags apologize for their outburst?  No.  Retract it?  No.

Something tells me D that President Obama doesn't hate cops.  Oh, wait a minute...perhaps audio of Easy-E will surface from the grounds of the White House..."Fuck the Police!!"

and yes Smokin Guns, Pelosi's definitely tough on my ears too.  I may agree with many of her policy stances, but she just can't present herself convincingly...ya either got it or ya don't.  She'd be better served working behind the scenes.

A4P, I don't get how the Dems continue to stand behind her.  How much better would Barack's approval ratings be with her, and Reid, not involved.  The House and Senate have so much power and they dictate policy and bills and such....  I just think she is such a joke and there is no situation I can come up with that warrants her being speaker of the house.  She just seems so incompetant and that fake smile is killing me.  When are people in her party going to demand her to step down?

Boo fuckin' hoo.

EDIT: Let me add, since "boo fuckin' hoo" doesn't quite capture everything...it took Bush six years to accept an invitation to speak to the NAACP.  By your "logic", Bush felt his five excuses (one per year) were all more important than the 60 million non-white Americans.  Then again, it's a stretch to apply the word "logic" to what you said.

If it was your dad who died in the line of duty you lowclass fucks wouldn't be saying that

what does Obama have to do to draw any criticism?

Its ridiculous how far you guys tongues are up his ass.

When the President would rather meet the Phillies than appear at a ceremony like this, that is just bullshit.

I don't know how that can be defended.

U can still worship Jesus Obama and still think something he does is bullshit u know. u don't have to be sheep on every single issue.

If he were doing serious business for the good of the country, I got no problem with that. but meeting his 25th sports team of the year and skipping something that Bush not only appeared at, but took time to shake every families hand....

+1 for Bush

What a fucking joke.  You've clearly just got a grudge.

And, FYI, the NAACP has been fighting for civil rights and against discrimination in this country for 100 years.  So, yeah, it's important, whether you think so or not.

D, you voted for his ass, so I don't want to hear it.  I knew how he was before he got elected.  I agree and I love your passion, but for a couple months you bought all his shit hook line and sinker.  Only myself, Bluto, and Sandman seemed to challenge Obama down to the wire.  I think he cabinet sux and his majority leaders in the house and senate are beyond pathetic.

Sorry didn't say that.... I don't have a dog in that fight.  He may not have even had control over that decision, somebody else maybe did his planning for him.  It sux for D, but I don't know enough about it.  Stuff like that won't make me change my mind on him as Pres, but him attending events for the Cops might make me like him more personally.  Barack already seems like a good guy....  We don't see the real Obama due to the confines leaders of his own party put him in.  Its sad.

Freedom,

Are you out of your god damn mind?  Comparing a ceremony for men who died protecting others verus an organization that caters to African Americans?  Was there a precedent for the President to attend the NAACP event like there was for the military ball he bailed on?  And let's be honest, would W have gotten a warm welcome at the NAACP event?  I don't see Obama running to an NRA dinner and the NRA has been defending freedoms much longer than the NAACP and has more members too.  You're a professor for god sakes man.  How about a little objectivity.  It's okay to say Obama has his priorities wrong.  He skipped a ceremony for murdered policemen to meet the Phillies.  If you fail to see anything wrong with this, then maybe you need to sit down and rethink your moral code.
