Counting the signs & cursing the miles in between.

And I still haven't seen an explanation of what makes any of this racist.

What if the rolls were reverse. We had a white President who put out a National Security memo out on the Black Panthers, people of the essence of Jeremiah Wright who preaches constant hate speech, and the ACLU who wants to protect the "rights" of NAMBLA or whatever that sick organization, and La Raza who were all types of organizations that threatened this countries national security. Would that be racist? You bet it would be and the media and Democrats would be calling for heads.

So yes, that makes this latest memo from these assholes racist.

The reason I left off the Oklahoma City bombing was because there's no argument for that. It seemed like to me you were trying to stack up all of the other Islamic terrorist attacks and compare them to the Oklahoma City attack. I wonder if B.O.'s long time friend Federal Building bomber Bill Ayers is included on that hit list?

In so much as the BPP or La Raza were security threats, then absolutely they should be a part of such a list.  In fact, I'm sure they've been on many a list, as has Bill Ayers.

You'll notice that much of Al Qaeda is Arab...no reasonable voice on the left is calling our conflict with them "racist".

And, no, my inclusion of the OK city bombing wasn't a point of comparison.  It was simply a summary of major terror incidents against US targets in non-war situations.

Wasn't aware that the ACLU was a race based organization...perhaps you can clarify that one?

Freedom, I love ya man, but putting 1 domestic attack and acting like its a trend similar to that of the extreme islamists is beyond a reach.  You listed many, many examples of attacks by radical members of islam and act like a singular attack by non organization, OK City bombing, is similar to the terrorist networks that cause havoc world wide.  Freedom, its not the same.  And you can throw Bill Ayers as a left wing terrorist so now its even at 1-1 in American, domestic, terrorism.  American, domestic terrorism is isolated, radical islamic terrorism isn't and is world wide.  Just pointing out.

I wasn't calling them a race based organization per-se. I was more pointing out that if they were on a "watch list" you can bet they would throw racism in as a charge as to why they were on a white President's National Security memo.

So if a white President has a beef with the ACLU, the left would call it racism?  I honestly don't know how you make that connection.  Haven't almost all white GOP Presidents had issues with the ACLU?

Huh  Well, my list included three domestic attacks (assuming we categorize 9/11 as one attack), but I'm still not sure what your point is there.

I have no problem condemning anything that Ayers did.  He is clearly guilty and got off mostly on technicalities (if memory serves).  I'd say the same of OJ (sans the technicalities, unless we call "reasonable doubt" a technicality), just so I'm not accused of anti-white racism.  But let's not confuse Ayers with McVeigh.  The scale of their crimes is not even close.  Ayers isn't believed to have directly killed anyone with his bombings.  Indirectly, through the group, he's probably more implacable.  I would not dismiss what he did as good, justified, or anything like that.  But it's nowhere near what was done in OK City.  Not even close.  And like it or not, religious fundamentalism is, by definition, conservative.  I've never heard of a religion wanting to get back to the fundamentals of its bleeding heart liberal roots, have you?  So, sure, count it as 1 to 1 if you like, but it's a flawed comparison as such.

you republicans have your panties in a bunch because Homeland Security issued a warning for right-wing extremist terrorism.  Am I to assume that those of you who are offended by it feel like you were included in that warning?   Why?   Its not every single right winger out there, but you have to admit there were some kooky people at some of those tea parties and when you have mass demonstrations like that, its going to attract wackjobs who do stupid shit.

Funny how the memo came out right before these Fair Tax rallies and tea parties across the nation. All of a sudden we now have a threat from people who were non-violent, who protested peacefully, and who actually cleaned up their trash afterward. This is a threat in your mind? Unbelievable! How often do the left-wing protest march peacefully in their anti-war and pro-choice demonstrations? It seems they leave a disaster area most times after their demonstrations. But oh no, it's the right-wing demonstrations that could possibly be a threat. There is more hatred, hate speech, and violence at left-wing demonstrations than there has ever been at any other kind of demonstration. You also saw how the left-wing media threw out all of their hatred and any aspect of real journalism out the window that day as well. It's absolutely disgusting!

There's nuts on the left, and nuts on the right.   One example of extreme right wing terrorism are the abortion clinic bombers.   One example of extreme left wing terrorism was the radical underground.

With the tea parties, it made sense to be on higher alert for someone who might be inspired by Glen Beck or Michelle Bachmann to take to the streets and start a revolution.     Shit, the governor of Texas was talking about seceding!   These tea parties might have been mostly peaceful, but you can't deny there were some loony ass wack jobs attending these things and its best to be prepared for the worst.

You can't generalize all teabaggers as terrorists, nor can you generalize them all as peaceful.    It just takes one bad apple.

why were the people at the tea parties wack jobs?  because they don't like the direction the country is going?  They had peaceful protests.  I suppose if it were a mob of people holding up Bush=Hitler signs or people cheering for 8 month old fetus's to be torn out of the womb it would have been more acceptable...yes it is the right wingers who are the wack jobs Roll Eyes....as far as the real wack job Janet Napolitano goes, Im surprised she hasnt resigned yet...give it a few more months.  Everytime she opens here mouth it gets better and better, she is the gift that just keeps on giving.

I never said that, learn how to fucking read.

I said there were SOME wackjobs.  I'm not claiming all teabaggers are wackjobs.    You have wackjobs on the left, and wackjobs on the right.   Apr 15th happened to be the day that brought out the loonies on the right.

Back in November, your ideas were overwhelmingly rejected by the American public.     You had your 8 years and you fucked everything up.   Maybe its time to try something else.

Its going to take some time to clean up your mess.   It took you guys 8 years to fuck up the world, lets not be hasty and call Obama a failure after 100 days in office.

Right wing conservative ideas were overwhelmingly rejected.  I'm not just talking about the Presidential race, that wasn't the only thing people voted on back in November.

my mess?  There is very little I agree with in the Republican party, but i tend to vote that way because there is virtually NOTHING I agree with in the democratic party...dont throw this mess on me...If I were running the country we would be in tip top shape.. ok

Also, blaming 1 party soley for the mess of the last 8 years is a completely naive and simple minded thing to do...if only it were that cut and dry...

After years of BushCo general warnings, I'd agree that it's best to be as specific as possible in coordinating our efforts.
