Ummm, but making it legal makes the US less money in back door shady deals....  Yes, we have congressmen that know drug dealers.   I like the idea of legalizing it though, my only fear is that you will have more fucking idiots driving high than you already have, or me idiots getting coked out and beating their wife to death.  Its hard to do heroin in moderation.  One drug for sure we could legalize is Marajuna cause it seems fairly harmless to others around you.

I do?

Okay, serious news, I kept asking you guys all during the campaign why the hell McCain's sorry ass nor Obama EVER spoke freaking immigration/Mexico.  McCain is FROM ARIZONA and his state is turing into a WAR ZONE.  We should have built the fucking wall and been done with is.  This shit is a damn mess.

I'm not so much for a wall for dealing with immigration issues.  Now...an extremely violent drug war in a neighboring state?  That's an entirely different matter.

Would a wall make it "harder" for violence to come into our country?  If the answer is yes, build the fucking wall and build the wall now.  I don't give a shit.  I want my mexican friends legalized, they are good hard working tax paying people, but the bad people from their country are taking over and they are coming here next.  There were 5 (Mexicans) murdered and decapited not far from where I live.  It was a drug turf war thing and some of the money is traced back to Europe.

I don't think most people are thinking "if only heroin were legal..."

Agreed on the marijuana.  Such an absurd law.

As far as driving...well, people drive drunk too, and that's legal.  Set up a system, make sure people understand the consequences...what more can you do?

And, obviously, I'm not really thrilled with the prospect of people doing crack, heroin, etc.  But the point here is that people already do it, if you tax it heavily it will keep more of that money out of the hands of some truly bad people, and taxing it heavily will also make it less likely that people will simply do it to "try it out".  It's not a perfect solution, by any means, but the "war on drugs" is a failure, and it's time to think of new options.

And we clearly could use the $$$.

I feel for the children whose parents would now do this "legal" heroin.  I agree, they would prob. do it anyway.  I just find Heroin and those types of drugs hard to over look cause they are "that" bad.  Pot, eh, fine with me.

"The War on Drugs" is a fallacy.

A war is defined as conflict between two or more parties, so how do you go about engaging in the act of war against innate natural substances such as marijuana or opium?

What's next? A war on maple trees?

I never looked at it that way... Crack can't fight back?
What I meant is there should be a 'war on drugs' fought against growing, manufacturing, distribution, and dealing. If in the mix a few users are caught up in the process so be it. But as far as the statement "there is no war on drugs, only on drug users" that sounds like it would have come from Timothy Leary or someone who can't go thru the day without ripping a bowl.

Well, the classification for weed thank god has been raised again in the UK.

When they put it down to C a few years ago. Every retarded chav kid in school (when i was still at school) had weed with ease n they came to school stoned all the time n were a bunch of douchebags.

I assume that same scenerio was wide spread so thats why they put it back up.

So using your logic, marijuana should be legalalized since it helps to both aid and ease medical conditions?

I would say yes, IF  there was a legit regulatory system and prescription system. Not just a card that is handed out so that you can walk into a legalized hash bar and choose from a book of options.

When I had my shoulder reconstruction I wasn't given a blanket prescription for 'pain killers' that enabled me to walk into a 'painkiller store' and pick from a wide menu. If that was the current system you would see line forming outside of Dentists offices so everyone could get their Methadone or Oxycontin membership card that entitles them to as much as they can take.

If the FDA was willing to oversee Marijuana, than I don't see the issue... I would also expect huge penalties against doctors abusing the system and prescribing Marijuana to everyone that walked in off the streets. I would also expect this to affect things like the decriminalization of Marijuana in MA... becuase it would now be considered a controlled substance by the FDA.

I do?

I was kidding, but I would take Buffett's advice if I were Obama and wouldn't brush off everything as you suggest.

Smoking Guns, what in the world?  I think you need a break tonight.  Tune in to Shawnie at 8:00 eastern time for Dancing With the Stars.  I'll be flipping back and forth to check out Edyta's outfit.  Her body is verry nice.

On my way home Hannity didn't once address the stock market surging up today!  What a fuck-tard.   rofl

I told you to watch her on tv Smoking Guns!!!

Control yourself man!   hihi

I will kill that fuck for even thinking of doing something bad to my SHAWNY!!!!!!!!  That Fuck!

S Guns, dude!  What part of "love letters" didn't you understand?  So, he had some guns...don't we have a right to carry guns?  Perhaps the duct tape was for sticking the love letters up on a poster or a wall.   hihi

...underage?  Does that word even exist in the South?   hihi  Just kidding!  She does have a cute face, but I find the gymnast body plain strange...it just aint my cup o' tea.  As a kid watching the Wizard of Oz the Munchkins always did freak me out.   hihi

On a serious note, yes, marijuana should be legalized and taxed.  2 birds with 1 stone.  Increased government revenue and decreased violence as a result of drug/gang violence.  peace

A4P, I don't want to marry Shawny, I am just going along with your joke.

I don't think Pot is what is leading to all the gang wars, I think they moved on to Heroin i the 70's and Crack/Cocain in the 80's.

I hate the way Obama brushed off the marijuana question like it was a joke.    He was mocking the very people who raised him the money to get elected.  Undecided
