What is that, your high note?

No clue what this means.  Huh

Your "exit". Usually accompanied by standing ovations and thunderous applause.

Just wondering if that was the intent of that less than substantive counter argument.

I don't even know how to begin to have a substantive argument with you.  All you've mentioned are intellectual elites and tyranny.  Assertions with no facts to support them.  How is that substantive?

Anyway, where's Smoking Guns?  I fully expected him to be here to fight about Daschle's taxes by now, especially since Geithner has been confirmed.

That's pretty bold, considering.

The facts are brought up when they need to be. So far you've agreed to straight rhetorics by only presenting assertions yourself, which is more relaxing, so why bother? Especially when an attempt to invite a proper argument is dismissed with lacking reason.

I am not very happy right now.

This is very alarming to me.  EVERYONE in both parties needs to just be replaced.  I don't give a fuck anymore.  Its just so fucking pathetic.  $140,000?  Are you fucking kidding me?  And these fucks want to lecture us?  Had anyone here had these "oversights" our asses would be made to feel one inch tall and forced penalties and interest and all kinds of over the top stuff.  Once my dad, the year he got a divorce, had to get an early withdrawal on his IRA or something.  Anyway, because the confusion with the mail and all that crazy shit a divorce brings, the important document was misplaced and he forgot about it.  It ended up being $800 in taxable income or something.  Holy Shit, you would have thought it was millions from the letters he got from the IRS.  It was horrible.  I mean terrible how they treated him.  It really was an "honest" mistake and he paid the taxes the day he got the horrible letter, but for fucking 35 years never missed a payment, missed one for $800, and they fucking flip out.  Contrast that with these two fucks Obama is promoting and tell me we don't have a serious fucking issue.  This is horshit and damn right I am pissed.

Freedom, your boy Obama is a stud and will make a fine president, as soon as he stops propping up the retread scum bags.

One thing Bush & Obama have in common is they spend money like drunken sailors.

This is hilarious^. But I guess I'm not disappointed, since you were making these claims about Obama before he was even elected. Say it until it's true huh? What a group of losers.

Is it always Dems VS GOP in your mind where one side is always right and one always wrong?

Once again, you fail to listen...or learn for that matter.

Preceding his presidency you predicted Obama would be a big spender (while at the same time your guy catastrophically blew the budget.) Now Obama is faced with fixing YOUR mess, and the first thing you do is compare him to Bush in regards to spending. It's absolute absurdity to the umpteenth degree, and when once again asked to back up your ridiculous comparisons you recoil and resort to the default position, ie "You hate Bush and the GOP."

Getting off fossil fuels is all well and good, but not if it's just used as an excuse to pocket some extra tax dollars and introduce even more tyranny to our lives.

Tyranny....in what shape or form?

So what does the GOP have in mind? More trickle down? Didn't work under Reagan or either one of the Bush presidencies.

Maybe we should cut everybody a check again to buy a big screen TV (Except for you guys who ripped your check up-yea right) ? Tell everybody to go shopping? Wasn't that the extent of Bush's economic ideology? Go to Circuit City and then to Chilis for a burger?

He is Barack Obama, with his experience fixing Bush's mess won't be a big deal.... Lets don't build in excuses for Barack, we all know its going to be tough... Anyone can come in an give reasons why they will fail.  I want to know why he will succeed.  In many ways Bush was dealt huge mistakes that happened in the Clinton administration.  So lets stop passing the buck.  Also the 9/11 thing happening changed any direction Bush may have had envisioned.  Obama knows the dangers now.  He knows the state of our economy....  In many ways he has built in advantages.

A shot at me? Not surprising at all. It's the truth, I burned my check thank you very much. Who cares if you believe it or not. I won't be a part of these government scams.

(if you really did that, you're nuttier than me!  hihi)

Obama reminds me of the new head coach of the Lions.  They're both taking over unenviable positions.

btw, yes Smoking Guns I agree.  There's no excuse for not paying taxes.  Make 'em pay it...load on some huuuge fines, and get over it.  We've got bigger fish to fry right now.

Why? It wasn't my money to begin with. I didn't lose out on anything except a free hand out from the government. I have higher standards than that.

Actually, I'm quite bothered by the Daschle tax issue...much more so than I was with Geithner.  Geithner's issue had to do with a non-domestic employer, which makes your taxes easier to fuck up.  It's a silly and highly ironic thing for a Secretary of the Treasury, but I'm not really all that bothered by it.  This Daschle issue bothers me a good deal.  Whereas Geithner had a consistent error over a few years, and one that I think is common (as far as errors go) among people with non-domestic employers, Daschle underreported his consulting income.  Now, I can accept that you don't realize that your taxes weren't paid in full out of your paycheck by your employer.  I cannot accept that you just didn't realize you had to pay taxes on income.  Underreporting...I mean, it's not like Daschle is a waitress who isn't reporting her tips, here.

I'm sure he'd do an ok job in this position, but this shit just irks me.  And, yes, the unequal treatment is undeserved, regardless of party affiliation or anything else.  That's the real problem of our society, if you ask me, and cuts to the heart of why economics and justice are irrevocably intertwined.  You just get different treatment if you're rich.  Plain and simple.  And it's disgusting.

Yes, this situation is even more repulsive than Geithner.  Neither are accetable when going for such a high public position though especially when there are better candidates that DO pay their taxes... The same taxes the raise or lower for us, funny how it doesn't affect them.

The economy was tanking when Bush took office.  The tech stock bubble had burst not long before and homesales were actually pretty shitty then too.  Then 9/11 hit which fucked up even more stuff.

9/11 itself didn't "fuck shit up" as much as the assenine response by our government to go to war with a nation that had nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing to do with 9/11...and had no, no, no, no no WMD's...and was never, never, never, never an imminent threat to our nation's security.  Pardon my stuttering there.   hihi

W. was handed a surplus.  W. will rank right up there with Jimmy Carter as the worst president since FDR.  They both seem like nice guys...oh well.

True, but they recovered.  The world (with the exception of the terrorists) was behind us at that moment, and W fucked it up.
Nobody here, or anywhere for that matter blamed W for the effect on Wall Street of 9/11.  It's a given with any terrorist attack, especially on a financial center like the WTC.

My point was, Bush's failings weren't because of 9/11, many were because of his assenine response to the attack.

FDR was not even remembered as a bad president by most. Bush will be actually viewed as the worst president since Herbert Hoover, perhaps worst of all time.
