It is a pretty stupid policy. 

EDIT: ESPECIALLY medical marijuana policies.  There are PLENTY of drugs that can be harmful, but are used medicinally to great effect.

Can anyone even imagine Bush doing something like Obama is right now?  That's not a partisan/policy based criticism, but Bush was no fan of press conferences, let alone in prime time with an audience.  I think  he'd have opted for the Oval Office speech, sans questions.

He was pretty good tonight.  The only question that seemed to throw him was about media access to coffins coming back from the wars.

What good does that do?  That doesn't sell commercials like Sex or Scandle does.  I do agree those guys deserve more.
