 Cool

GN'R made the top even without the kind of tricks the Killers' fans used.

Last week, to kick off our look back at 2008, we asked you to tell us your favorite album covers of the past 365 days. The masses have spoken, and thanks to some ballot stuffing on behalf of a Brandon Flowers? fan site, the Killers? Day & Age cover with its Photoshop Stained Glass Effect desert landscape was victorious, beating out Metallica?s shrapnel coffin, a pair of epic Lil Wayne images, Kanye?s deflated balloon and priceless masterpieces by Pieter Bruegel (Fleet Foxes) and Eugene Delacroix (Viva La Vida). To check out 2008?s Top 25 Albums Covers, check out our gallery here.

When you say 'GnR made the top' presumably you meant the top 25?

Like we are above doing shit like that   hihi

I think it's a pretty classic cover and I've seen many.  I guess we could ask George Chin, he's pretty great at picture taking but I like it.

good publicity!  hopefully some people will be willing to buy it just off the amazing album cover.  when you see it, it's very arresting.  your'e like wtf, is that just a picture of a bike?  you keep looking at it, expecting to see more.  and wondering what's in the basket.  that's the genius of it!  it keeps you wondering.

No, top 16!

Are you upset that people like it?

Must be so weird that people like the cover enough to vote for it and that not everybody hate everything about the album......

since my opinion was deleted... (just in case it was done in accident)

the cover sucks. sorry... i have an opinion.

point i was trying to make is that the album cover to me isn't thought out. the red star is beautiful. it's very surprising it's part of top covers. cheers if you like it... or even understand it.

i just think it's amature at best... cheap cover. not very thought out.

it's like the spaghetti incident cover... lame.

That is so constructive!

Congratulations!

You're also trying to steer this topic into something it's not supposed to be.

That's why your post was removed.

But I guess that makes no sense to you.

Because if it would, you wouldn't be here posting that.
