Personally I think This I Love is the most mind-blowing piano ballad of the three and that is why I would compare it to November Rain, but Street of Dreams definately has a positive vibe and feel like November Rain has, so I think that one too constitutes a logical comparison. I'm undecided. What do you think?

I think This I Love is the one which in terms of quality and "size" can be compared to NR....Street of Dreams for me is a bit weak overall....also, TWAT is up there in terms of "epic value" as well....

Yeah, There Was A Time and Catcher in the Rye are songs I would place up there with the "epics" (God I hate that expression) and so is Estranged and Coma, but you gotta stop somewhere, so I think it's only natural to narrow it down to piano ballads about love.

Street of Dreams (it is better song in 2008. than November Rain, but it is equivalent to November Rain in 1991. - if You know what I mean).

This I Love is in the other league and class of it own... above almost everything out there.

IMHO.

yes, if it was released in 1991, it would have been perfect for the time....its not a bad song, but This I Love and TWAT are that much more superior....

I like November Rain best, Street of dreams is the second and This I Love has a bad guitar solo that ruins the song for me :/ otherwhise it's great song.

I don't think TIL even comes close to NR. Street of Dreams is a damn good song, but NR is a classic.

I always considered Street of Dreams as a "mini" November Rain, a little more compact and to the point version, but equally as epic in it's execution. The guitar solos alone make it deserving of that.

And as great as it is, I don't consider This I Love as an epic, if that makes sense?

For me, neither song comes close to what November Rain is.

This I Love reminds me a lot of the piano-only demo of NR, so I'll take that one.  Both are great songs to me

November Rain, its not even close.

In your rush to praise the old band, you misunderstood the post  hihi

It's about which song is a better comparison to NR:  This I Love or SOD.  Not which song of the 3 is best

This I Love is in its own category away from both of those songs even thought those songs are good too.

its a close call and i really like all three songs but it goes This I Love>Nov. Rain> Street of Dreams imo
