I personally think it would be sick as HELL to have Bucket and Ron for the tour.... Two of the sickest shredders around on the same stage....
yeh it would be awsome to see Bucket playing the twat solo, then with Ron adding his nice guitar licks and shredding/finger tapping over it..

rumours are rumours...
but there has been talk of Bucket might be coming back if he meets specific measures...
This is only a rumour at this stage, and more then likely incorrect...
but it would be cool to see him back in the lineup.

i was a little confused by the situation of Axl and Buckethead, Axl seemed really pissed off when he left, but it looks like he likes the guy,he is in the booklet,he has defend him in the dr.pepper thing.
my brother saw the cd the other day, and the first thing he asked me was"what is he doing here" pointing at the Bucket photo.

Whatever happens, it is really nice to see that now people besides his relatively small group of fans will be able to hear his awesome work.
I'd love to hear what he thinks of Chinese Democracy!

Bucket's work is awesome on CD as are all of his solo albums. If you doubt that you should at least try listening to Decoding the tomb of the banshees - that hasnt left my CD stacker since I got it.
Hope he comes back in the fold one day

Buckethead's contributions to Chinese Democracy are pure perfection.
Thanks Bucket for helping make CD the masterpiece it is. A true virtuoso, I expected nothing less from him.

I want Bucket back for sure. But I like Ron too, I just don't know if Guns could handle both on one stage. A little too much shredding for me. ...Well thinking about it I think I could take it, if that's what it took to get Bucket back.
Thank Bucket,

yeah but its Buckethead. Hes just the most annoying guy ever to be hired for a GNR line up.
You've obviously never read a Matt Sorum interview.
Oh yeah, definitely, Buckethead is annoying, I mean he talks SOOO MUCH, and he NEVER SHUTS UP!
Give me a fucking break.

His "If The World" solo is fabulous. As is TWAT. I don't think there's any moments on CD where bucket plays anything less than perfection, which isn't entirely true for the other two. I think prostitute is mainly his as well, and that is another great one.

If Robin doesn't come back...i want him.
How crazy is the world, huh? I'm on forums since 2001 (I started in the spanish section of GunnerTemple) and back then Buckethead was nothing but a freak. Today the same people who insulted him years ago, wants him back.
They became aware of his virtues too late...

its amazing how peoples feelings change if they just let themselves enjoy the music and not get caught up in
all the other secondary crap.

Thank you to Buckethead for all his amazing contributions to 'Chinese Democracy' and his amazing contributions to music period! I have become a big fan of his over the years, his playing is filled with so much emotion, it used to really piss me off how people would focus on the fact he wears a mask and even say it made him 'emotionless', what the fuck?? The emotion surges through his fingers, I couldn't give a fuck how he is dressed! He is also extremely versatile, he can do all the crazy shredding shit with ease as well as beautiful ballad-esque solo's. I hope one day he does come back, I like Ron but I feel Buckethead is a far superior player and Buckethead is the only one who is going to nail the TWAT solo live (My favourite solo in a rock song ever I might add, so beautiful it almost brings me to tears).
I think Buckethead was Axl's 'Secret weapon' on 'Chinese Democracy', his contributions are perfect and i'm glad they kept his work, I only wish they had kept ALL of it and not replaced his solo's on Shackler's and Scraped (You know he was bound to have had solo's on them two songs if not more).
