What do you think the best Brain moment on CD is?

The "Thank Yous" part of the booklet

Brain would like to thank: Christ, Viagra, and The Right To Chose

well at least brain told me
that he wants to tour with GNR if they call him up

Wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets filled first. Brains name wasn't on the band members list on Gunsnroses.com. Nothing against Frank but Brain is the only one who should be sitting in Stevie's chair.

Neither was Pitman.

And I agree. Brain rules.

Now you are grasping at straws. There is no question that Pitman is in the band. There is regarding Brain.

They posted a list of the band members and Pitman wasn't on it. If someone's going to refer to the list to say Brain's out, then the list also says Pitman is out. It's either relevant or it isn't.

Pitman was never out. We have no indication that Brain is coming back at all. I know he played shows without him but I think Brain and Bucket are a package deal. Since GNR will need a third guitarist ,why not bring them both back?

You son of a bitch! You are my new favorite drummer. No disrespect to that Bonham guy, but the way you hit that shit, especially the snare, resonates in the happy part(whatever that's called) of my gray matter. All that need be said, is wow! Thanks, man. beer

welcome to the "Brain is te best and most underrated drummer in the world" fanclub!
Ive personally been in the club since Primus' Antipop.

I'm with you, he is my new god  ok

I just wish the drums were higher in the mix, at times they seem buried.

I really hope he comes back for the tour, I've never had a chance to see him play live with GNR. If him and Bucket came back for the tour I'd be delirious.

Yeah, Brain is a good drummer and the best GNR has had, but Frank is still highly preferable to Matt 'I look like a fat lesbian' Sorum or Steven 'I can't play anymore, but please let me back in the band, Axl' Adler.

wow that was unnecessary.

But true. Matt Scrotum is a colossal douche, and unfortunately Popcorn will never kick the spaghetti habit... even after it's all but killed him.

The end of Catcher in The Rye is great too.

Brain is way better than Frank.

I really love Frank, but Brain is Brain!

I'll agree with pretty much everyone else here. Frank is a great guy, and a great drummer, but Brain is for sure the best drummer GNR's ever had in the band.

Sincerely I don't like Mantia that much.

I don't know...I never liked him. The 'Paycheck' incident, the "their disc" in a magazine (reffering to "Chinese Democracy" as "their disc"), the stupid thanks on "Chinese Democracy"...I don't know. I hope Frank Ferrer would be the drummer in the forthcoming tour.

he is very able.  yes
and whether the 'someone else' can play the drum parts written by Brain is quite doubtful.

it wasn't his choice, Axl liked the drumparts the way they were.
that he can make someone elses parts sound so good says a lot. besides, not everything was written by Freese. Brain did his stuff on several of the songs as well, and he added stuff to songs already done by Freese. check the song credits dude.
I'm sure on the rumored 2 following albums, there will be no more of Freese's stuff left, and I don't think Axl will want Frank on every track either, since Brain is a much better and versatile drummer.
he's even credited as a song writer on 2 tracks on the album. that's never happened in GN'R before (outside of CD and Freese).
I think Axl is very excited to have such an amazing drummer playing in his band. (Frank is not bad either, don't get me wrong people!)

i have a mixed opinion.  on one hand, his drumming is great.  but on the other hand, he bailed on axl and the band for selfish reasons.  i understand he wants to be around his newborn kid, but come on... how long did he need?  to me, it looks like just used his kid as an excuse because he could have come back for more shows later.  he could put out a statement like 'i love working with axl and gnr.  i need X days to spend with my child, then i'm back 100% behind the greatest rock band and the greatest front man ever.'

instead... silence.

and frank even re-recorded some drums!  i mean come on, if he really was as passionate about this music as he should be he would have put his foot down and been like 'no way, these songs are my lifeblood.  if axl wants more drumming done, i'll get off my duff and do it myself!"  but he didn't.  he just shrugged.  its like he doesn't even really care that much anymore to me.
