You son of a bitch! You are my new favorite drummer. No disrespect to that Bonham guy, but the way you hit that shit, especially the snare, resonates in the happy part(whatever that's called) of my gray matter. All that need be said, is wow! Thanks, man. beer

Brain's drumming is sick.  He's got a style all of his own and sounds insane on the tubs.  Can't wait to see him live in '09!!

I love Brain, he's a strong, solid drummer, love listening to him.

Unfortunately there's no word of Brain coming back for a future GNR tour at this time..

At this point, Brian is probably just as likey to be in the band next year as Robin is. Which is unfortunate in both cases.

I love his drumming on "Scraped" and "Shacklers", heavy with a solid groove. The end of "Sorry" is great too.

I'm looking at the drummer position as a win win situation since we'll get either Brain or Frank, I like them both.

look at the credits on the album for fucks sake hihi   everything wont be dealt with half arsed!!

when ROBIN finishes NIN....he's name will be back on the line up!! ok ok

im sure BRAIN will have his fare go too!!

I am confused about the Brain situation, moreso because of his relationship with Bucket. I personally would be beyond excited to see both B&B take the stage with Axl next year. Thal and Frank are fine but Bucket and Brain were going to be stars.

Wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets filled first. Brains name wasn't on the band members list on Gunsnroses.com. Nothing against Frank but Brain is the only one who should be sitting in Stevie's chair.

Neither was Pitman.

And I agree. Brain rules.

Now you are grasping at straws. There is no question that Pitman is in the band. There is regarding Brain.

They posted a list of the band members and Pitman wasn't on it. If someone's going to refer to the list to say Brain's out, then the list also says Pitman is out. It's either relevant or it isn't.

Became a huge fan of Brain when I heard Primus' Brown album in 97, & loved his work with Bucket...

But his drums on Chinese is his best work ever!!! Brain is by far the most talented drummer GNR ever had.

Hope to see him on 09 tour!  beer

GNR's next lead guitarist

« Reply #19 on: November 28, 2008, 05:27:44 AM »

Yeah, Brain is a good drummer and the best GNR has had, but Frank is still highly preferable to Matt 'I look like a fat lesbian' Sorum or Steven 'I can't play anymore, but please let me back in the band, Axl' Adler.
