So i just checked metacritic again and Guns are 68 out of 100 from 20 reviews. So not alot of movement.

Some reviewers will rate it low just because it's axl rose and there is no slash in the band, etc...

Reviewers are biased...

Yeah but they have included more reputable reviews aswell.

It's funny though...

If you look at the reviews, the publications I'd consider more reputable are all giving it good scores...70's, 80's, and 90's.

The publications I've either never heard of (no rip cord? tiny mix tapes? prefix magazine?), or ones I'd consider rags at best (Slant), are the ones giving the album low scores.  They really seem to be pulling down the number.  If I look at the sources I'd consider reputable, the average is closer to 80, it looks like.

CD is certainly going to suffer from the "over-reviewed" syndrome that you sometimes find on metacritic.  It's so mythical in stature that everyone and their grandmother is going to want to review it.  I half expect to see a review in the next EGM, and maybe even the next Rachel Ray mag (it's my WIFE'S!! I swear!!).

I'm not. Considering the delight some critics have taken in ripping it to shreds, the Metacritic score isn't all that bad. It's still in the green.
