My first post in God knows how long...  but you gotta start somewhere right!

1. Prostitute [Amazing! So many emotional changes and I love the optimistic feel of the end instrumental section.]
2. There Was a Time [Equally amazing!  Love all the solos - kinda bring the song to another dimension similar to Slash's solos in Estranged]
3. Better [the hit!]
4. Sorry [mean but well deserved after all these years]
5. This I Love [Heartbreak Inc. - honestly, it takes a lot of courage to release this.  Finck's solo is good (not amazing) it's just that it was mixed way too loud imo - it feels separate from the rest of the instruments.]
6. Shackler's Revenge [love the disco beat drumming during the prechorus and the solo's crazy - I hope some DJs remix it and make a techno anthem]
7. Madagascar [I prefer Axl's vocals from the live shows - it sounds a little too raspy to me.]
8. Scraped [I don't think Axl's ever done these types of lyrics before; love the intro; it's the modern Out ta Get Me]
9. Street of Dreams [I really miss those synth flute things overlayed that they used in 2001 and 2002 shows - they started during "I don't know just what I should do...", but a great song nonetheless]
10. Chinese Democracy [Turned out way better than the earlier incarnations - thanks Bumblefoot!]
11. Riad n' the Bedouins [fusion of styles - really cool]
12. I.R.S. [rocks but a little repetitive]
13. If the World [very cool for GN'R - I just wish Buckethead's acoustic solos were louder in the mix - I'm glad I still have the leak]
14. Catcher in the Rye [It's okay but I really have to be in the mood to listen to it - I'll probably be skipping it sometimes...  It's a totally personal thing since I know a lot of people like this song a lot - just not my thing.  The same thing happened with Breakdown for me - I know it's good but I just don't feel like listening to it often.]

P.S.  I was really really hoping that they would re-record Oh My God with the new guys (I really didn't like the production of the End of Days soundtrack version).  It's a great song imo and would probably rank somewhere in the middle.

The only thing I can say for sure is that Better is my absolute favorite song on this album, but I find a different song popping into my head without even thinking about it so it's really impossible for me to begin to rank these songs.

Honestly, I enjoy something out of every song.. its just a case that I'm more interested to listen to particular songs for different reasons, whether the lyrics or the mood or the energy of the song - so this is very difficult and I've already edited this list about 5 times before I even clicked the Post button the first time..

1. Scraped (Came out of nowhere and gets me with every listen, the guitar riffs are killer)
2. This I Love (Another one that came out of nowhere and just.. woah)
3. Shackler's Revenge (I love it)
4. If The World (Cool acoustic lead, awesome groove, great vocals)
5. There Was A Time (Epic guitar solos)
6. Madagascar (Simple melody but an epic)
7. Sorry (I love the mood, and Buckethead's guitar is great here)
8. Riad N' The Bedouins (Long time favorite)
9. Catcher in The Rye (Nice melody and lyrics)
10. Chinese Democracy (The first new GNR song I got to after "Oh My God")
11. Better (Long time favorite. Disappointed that I had to rank it so low but goes to show there was better to come)
12. Prostitute (Another one I really enjoyed and disappointed but I'm more likely to repeat "This I Love" over this)
13. IRS (Great song but I don't go back to it much)
14. Street of Dreams (Another great song but I don't go back to it much)

Who knows this might change next week. But I'm going to just submit this and move on otherwise I'll be going over this list for another 10 minutes..

After reading most of these, I have to say Riad seems to be by a wide margin the least liked overall. I guess it's because the lyrics don't seem to go anywhere. *shrug*

Hard to make this list!  I think Madagascar, Better and Chinese Democracy are lower for me because I already heard them.  and IRS is awesome but I think the other ones are better!
