Wow, they were utterly terrible! The lead singer truly sucked, they should really stick to clubs and not embarass themselves on national tv

I saw them twice live, and they sucked both times. At one show they even forgot the lyrics to Nightrain and Estranged. Horrible.

I didn't think they were that bad. They were entertaining, and that's all you really want from a cover band: to be entertained.
And for those of you wondering why Letterman had a tribute band perform on the show, this entire week has been Tribute Band week. He's had a different cover band on every night.

Ah ^ I don't typically watch Lettermen - that time slot for viewing goes straight to the Tonight Show for me. <3 - Still for the record, get the actual band next time Lettermen.

Not so great. The singer sounded nothing like Axl, and the band didn't have any sort of "BIG" sound.
I saw a local GNR tribute band out of Boston - Cocaine Tongue - earlier this year. The singer didn't sound too much like Axl, but the band as a whole sounded a lot like Guns.
