Got mine this afternoon, Warsaw, Poland. And freaked out before I actually started listening to it, as I read in the booklet under the thank yous: AXL ROSE WOULD LIKE TO THANK JARMO LUUKKONEN! I'm so envious... and happy. Jarmo, is there a way to describe a thrill of that happening to you, sir?

Starting to wish I had gone the route of pre-ordering through Best Buy.  In the past when I pre-ordered, I didn't get my cd(s) until about 5 days after the street release date......go figure.

WELL PLAYED SIR. I personally will be opening a bottle of Canadian  Club that was sealed in 1951 to enjoy this release.

Actually the whisky in the bottle is a recently bought malt, Highland Park 18 years. The Crown Royal deluxe bottle is actually about 40 years old, from when my parents stayed in Canada. My mums brothers immagrated there and started familes years ago, my parents moved over for 5 years when they were a young couple, I think that bottle was bought when they left.

I always knew I would have to have a wee dram for this occasion

Yesterday I ran around Dublin pleading with over 15 record stores to sell me Chinese Democracy (as I was going to South America Friday morning @ 7am and would not get it having waited so long - a white lie never hurt anyone right??) Prior to getting it from an unnamed store, Tower records refused to sell it to me but played it in full in the store for me - pretty cool...so my first listen to CD was in Tower Records - not as i had imagined.

Well finally some guy out there took pity on the story in a different store and i have spent the last 12 hours listening to Chinese Democracy and loving it.

Nice! Excellent choice in beer too! Where in Canada did you buy it? I only have Futureshop and Wal-Mart around me to buy from...doubting they'll have the t-shirt pack or coasters...but maybe.

Edit: See you bought it in Hamilton, probably at a record store?

I do not have the album yet and will have it on Sunday,. but I've heard the album in full a couple of times.

Some of the songs are the same as the demos...

CITR is changed up a bit in the intro, IRS is the same.

That stupid jackass that leaked the 9 songs is a fool.

I mean I heard the songs,. couldn't resist but I wish he hadn't given me the temptation.

I can't wait to have my copy!!! I'm buying 2

Bought from Sanity in Australia this afternoon Fri, 21st.

Asked them yesterday and they said they couldn't sell it until Saturday but today they had it playing in store and were pushing it out the door.

Just look for the dumbest looking broad at your local music store and try your luck. (getting the album).
