People on various boards say there is a skip at 1:19 of "Scraped." Has anyone else had a problem?

UPDATE: A few others have stated that their discs DO NOT skip. It seems this may be an isolated defect (thank God).

Wow absolutely not! Unless its a defect on the actual discs which would be surprising. Replayed it a few times just to see if I could here it and at 1:19 its like fucking kick ass butter. Smooth no skips.

You know, I bought it the day it came out and I never had a single one of those crazy problems.

What problems? I didn't know there was an issue with Live Era.

It probably will be, yes.  If you want to rip it, disable autorun.

Do you think it'll be something damaging like the big Sony rootkit scam or just make it a little harder to rip it?

Some of the first shipments of Live Era had a skip towards the end of Paradise City.  It was corrected shortly thereafter.

I sure hope there are no skips on Chinese Democracy.   Undecided

It doesn't skip at 1.19, the two different vocals are just badly pasted together and it sounds like Axl squeaks for a nanosecond.

You can also hear where they cut and pasted Axl's vocal at the end of Don't Cry to make it sound like he was holding the note for longer than he actually did in the studio ok

I noticed this too. Is it supposed to be like this?  Huh It's a nanoflaw imo...

I never noticed what you're talking about in don't cry tho. I was thinking that if i can hold that line for so long, so can Axl...

I can definitely hear what you're saying at 1:19. If that's a cut and paste of vocals someone did a very poor job as I can do better with the very little experience I have.

So no one else is thinking this is an error? Interesting....

Apparently it skipped as Axl was shouting "Las Vegas" so it just repeated Las Vegas over and over. Also, apparently the dsics were backwards, disc 1 was marked as disc 2 and vice versa.

I say apparently because I never had that problem and am just remembering the complaints from 1999 or whenever Live Era came out.

I got Live Era a few days early from the Mom and Pop record store and the my discs are labeled wrong and it skips at the Las Vegas part in PC.  It gives it character, but I was a bit confused that day when I had actually listened to disc 2 first.

It's interesting to note that the skip is in the copy of Scraped streaming from MySpace

Those who DO NOT have the skip, could you take a listen and see if you notice a difference in yours and the one on MySpace? So then maybe we can see if its just something that you guys don't view as a skip, but is still there
