Yeah, I hear the whispers. It kind of whips around the left and right channels.

What bubble noises are you talking about?
Do you mean at the end where it's just orchestra and piano?
If that's what you're talking about, I think we can draw a comparison to the outro of Karma Police.
In the outro, Ed O'Brien plays a few notes on his guitar, which are distorted by overloading an AMS rackmount digital delay unit and turning the delay rate knob down.

this song is seriously growing on me....the outro reminds me very distinctly of Beethoven Piano Concerto #5, 2nd Movement, which to this point is the most beautiful music i've ever heard. This has the same sort of vacating feeling (Beethovens was written about the Austrian emporer's son, i believe-his best friend-leaving Vienna when Napoleon was invading) and depending on the mood it can be sad or uplifting. But it is surprisngly beautiful and tender.

For me, the best part of this song is the last 1:30/1:45 of the song. The outro to me is just amazing and beautiful.

I hear some similarities to Shackler's Revenge in the chorus. You can fit in the lyrics there, almost.

It first appears when Axl sings "I've got a message for you..." and lasts a bit.
It then goes away but comes back for the last verse of the song.
Is that from a guitar effect or a synth? It seems to come out of nowhere which makes it a bit distracting.

I know what you're saying.. It reminds a lot of that dolphin guitar sound from Estranged.. but in a diferent context / lower tone, isn't it??

Underneath the riffs and Bucket's outro (4:20 - and also on 3:04) there's another amazing guitar work going on (I don't know how to call it: solo, lick, or anything else). Using a voice removal device or program can make it louder / more clear.
About 2 or 3 years ago someone out there described Prostitute as a song in which BH sounds like a "Crazy Pinball Machine". And that's the exact descripition of what is heard on those parts.
He's just awesome. The most skilled guitar player out there.
Thanks to Uncle Axl, we have him on the album.

There are great movements in this song. If Axl has existed years ago, I believe he would have become the Mozart of his era. He has a great ear for the unique. Much like Paul McCartney in the 60s

I like to think of them as some crazy Indian drums rather than bubble noises.
Think about it though, sounds like the opening drum lick in TWAT.

Okay I'm glad it isn't just me. Those "bubble noises" are super distracting listening on headphones! "Pop-Up Video" comes to mind. Good track though.

ive never noticed any bubble sounds, but i love the synth arrangements. and the changes in the song are incredible.... every instrument and nuance creating a plethora of sounds pleasing to the mind! my favorite GNR song EVER. the lyrics are better than anything axl has ever written.

My favorite song since I have the album. 3 days. It's just too good. The end sounds like the calm after a huge storm.

I like the lyrics of this song. I like when he talks about a new beginning. It's like he's talking about his current line-up.
