I think "Axl Rose's Bicycle Basket" put it perfectly (page 1 post).

I'm really surprised that most people didn't rate this song higher on their list of favorites. I look at it as the 'It's So Easy' of Chinese Democracy. Amazing pump-me-up tune!

This sounds very strange to me. This track in particular as none of the groove that made Guns n'Roses so special. It's way too martial and robotic for my liking. All headbang, no snake dance.

I love the verses, particularly at the chord change. The lyrics are pretty cool too, the bridge has that Axl sneer.

I find the intro to be very annoying. The rest of the song.... meh.  Undecided

I really do like this song. I for some reason am reminded of Oh My God when I hear it for some reason...Maybe Axl's voice on the track or the rhyme scheme not really sure. But I really like this track suprisingly.

This song is one of my top 5 on the CD.

Reminds me of "Locomotive" for some reason....just the way the song is structured, I guess.

This is likely my fav. track on CD. I like the vocal intro too. It got me thinking the song was going in another direction, then all of a sudden

DON'T YOU TRY TO STOP US NOW!!!

I like the aggression in Axl's voice.

See, now this is the reason why I think it's one of the weaker tracks.  Locomotive really never did much for either, because it doesn't go anywhere, much like "Scraped."  I agree though, it's a good comparison.

Different people, different likes/dislikes.....

one of my favorites on the album. the best rocker. i love the vocals throughout the whole song. and the guitar during the verses is so bad ass.

i've been kinda surprised at the general lack of love for this tune.

the song just kicks ass!

IRS is incredible live.  Not only was it by far the best of the new songs in a live setting, it was one of the top 2-4 songs of the night to me.  The energy and hugeness of it was hard to describe, you just have to see it first hand

As far as Scraped, I noticed something kind of cool the first time I listened on good set of headphones, the third level of vocals.  There's the high pitched "oh, oooooh" vocals, the full on screams, but beneath that are some lower vocals with Axl going "hey, heeeeeeey, hey."  It sounds pretty cool.  It's clear now every time I listen but I'd never heard it before

Scraped is cool by me.  It's kind of like the Right Next Door To Hell or Perfect Crime of CD

Great song! Definatley one of the top songs IMO. I like the "rocker" songs ie Better, CD, SR, R&B....but this ones got its own groove. Gives me goose bumps when Axl belts out the first few lines!

I was unsure at first, but at around 1:46 it turns into a great rocker when the layered vocals kick in. And I like its unabashed upbeat lyrics!

Its not one of my favourites, but I do love:

I really love Scraped. It has a defiant message of not letting people break you.
