ONe thing I can tell you is they engineered to album to sound great across all typed of platforms, from you awesome surround , to low budget, you stil ge the great impact, and Ive listened on quite a few platforms now since the listening party, they did a fantastic job, to make sure the music sounds great however you hear it!

Yeah, on my PC, only one of the speakers works, and my laptop speakers are crap. I'm waiting till Sunday, so I can blast the fuck out of the CD when I play it in my car.

Why butcher it into surround sound?  The album is stereo dude, that's the way it should be listened to.

I will be listening to myspace tonight. All the other stuff gnr has on there sounds great so I expect no different with Chinese Democracy. I also have a decent speaker set up for my computer because I watch lots of movies on it. Is the lack of good speakers on your computer the deciding factor in some of you not listening to it tonight? Becuz myspace's sound quality is pretty good, I listen to alot of music on there.

That's what I was meaning to say when I responded the first time.  I don't understand why D would want his hardware to artificially process a 5.1 upmix.  On mine, if I have a stereo source(ie. CD), I have the option of either listening in stereo or using Dolby Pro Logic, because the CD obviously doesn't contain the info necessary to properly divide the channels for a true 5.1 listen.  I can then either have the same sounds that come out of the 2 front speakers come out of the center and satellite speakers OR I can elect to have the system "approximate" a surround sound mix.

Still havent heard shackler's revenge, if my world, this i love, prostitute, sorry, scraped, or any of the more dated leaks finished yet besides better and chinese democracy. Its gonna be on fuckin my space tonight. I can listen to its finished product 3 days before release. Thats just so fuckin bad-ass. Those people that got their cd already are so lucky. I can't wait till tonight or till sunday. Fuck. This is unreal. I get to hold it in my hands on sunday but I get a taste of it tonight. Fuckin awesome.
