Another song off GUNS N' ROSES' long-awaited new album, "Chinese Democracy", "Better", received its world premier this morning (Monday, November 17) on a number of U.S. stations, including Q104.3 FM, which is currently streaming the track at this location.

"Chinese Democracy" will be released in the U.S. on November 23 exclusively through Best Buy. The 14-song set will be available on CD, vinyl, and as a download. While singer Axl Rose has remained silent, co-managers Irving Azoff and Andy Gould said in a statement, "The release of 'Chinese Democracy' marks a historic moment in rock n'roll. We're launching with a monumental campaign...that matches the groundbreaking sound of the album itself. GUNS N' ROSES fans have every reason to celebrate, for this is only the beginning."

One new song, "Shackler's Revenge", debuted on September 14 through the Rock Band 2 video game, while another, called "If The World", can be heard in the new film "Body of Lies".

"Chinese Democracy" is the first album of new material from GUNS N' ROSES since 1991's "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II".

Heard on triple m in Brisbane that HMV are doing a midnight release. Triple M are also giving away copies of CD in competitions - things are moving down here finally

Indeed, especially right before the "All that I wanted..." part.   I like that it helps bury the weird bubbling noise a bit.   All the added guitars sound great, in my opinion.

Is it me or the effects on 3:16 till 3:19 weren't there before?

Better is so awesome!

The drumming now is perfect. It's mean and it rocks.

I don't know about you but if I find myself air drumming to a particular song it's a sign that it's got the right groove and rythm. I can't wait to hear the druming in CD...if it's going to be this mean I'll be blown away.

I stopped listening to the circulating versions of the songs around the time of the Best Buy convention was reported, so its been a while for me.. reacquainting myself with the songs..

I always loved "Better" before, but fucking hell man..wow..

The live drums give it some real punch and groove.. the chorus sounds so much stronger with the groove and the nasty rhythm guitar.. i love the wall of guitars during the bridge.. and a little bit of lead by Bumblefoot at the end of the verses..

Sounds deadly.. Will be even better to hear it on the album.. without the "You're listening to on demand" robot bitch coming up during the song

I love that they added the guitar to the "transition" part like they were playing it live in late 06. Plus, I'm excited that Franks bad ass drum fill was added to the last chorus!!   beer

Triple M are reporting that Axl has fired Robin and Brain days before the release.  Roll Eyes
