Was very happy to see ChiDem in the on board entertainment CD collection for Qantas Airways. Made the flight from HK to Heathrow a lot more bearable

I'll be curious to see how the KISS exclusive at Walmart does. I'm a KISS fan, but I'm smart enough to know that talent-wise, KISS can't touch GN'R, and it ain't even close.

The important thing for me is that Chinese democracy is great and Pearl jam Backspacer is great i guess times change albums dont sell like they used to and these 2 bands will never be considered "cool" like they once were. I personally dont give a fuck. New Pearl Jam new Alice in Chains and GnR about to step out on stage again lifes good

That's true but those Wal-Mart exclusives always seem to do well and a bunch of people like Kiss for some reason.

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

There's one of those "Internet Jukeboxes" at a bar I frequent and they have CD listed in it. However only Better, SR and The Blues are available. I've tried to figure out how to download the other tunes and can't do it!

I can totally see you fidgeting around with the jukebox until the bouncer throws you out on your ass.

Well I do consistantly play Better and The Blues when I go there. I just would really like to throw Sorry, TWaT or IRS out there too.

Also, some interesting links concerning GN'R album sales:
Greatest Hits going 3x Platinum (3m copies) in Europe
http://www.ifpi.org/content/section_news/plat2009.html
Chinese Democracy, the much anticipated sixth studio album from Guns n? Roses, secured an IFPI Platinum Europe Award after its release in November 2008. It was the band?s first studio album since The Spaghetti Incident, released in 1993 and was top five in 11 European markets.

GH has gone platinum 4x in the joonata stay alone.
Not sure what that means
Anyway, remember this is in Europe alone. If I remember correctly it has gone 4x in the US, right?

One bar I go too has all of CD available, another one has it in the database but none of the songs work. They all say they're currently unavailable. Anyhow, at the one bar I try to sprinkle in a few CD songs here and there. I'm usually the chosen one to go to the jukebox so people know what they're getting.

As a side note, Pearl Jam's latest album sold 189,000 copies in its first week. It's a Target/iTunes exclusive.
The band has released a video for the first single, done interviews, and played live shows around its release.
Anybody who still likes to talk shit about GN'R's first week sales needs a reality check ASAP.
/jarmo
Pearl Jam releases albums every few years, they are independent of any label, and the last one kinda tanked. Only went gold.
excuses, exuses.... REALITY CHECK TIME!
why's it so hard for you to admit that chinese democracy is a great and popular album? oh right... because you have an "axe" to grind.
