A small mention on Hits daily double:
The Peas? LP sold a whopping 130k last week at Target, which had a semi-exclusive, getting a ?deluxe? version of the album in exchange for a massive ad buy, and pricing it at $9.98. Given the robust sales coming out of the Target promotion?the very antithesis of the company?s disastrous experience with the Guns N? Roses-Best Buy exclusive?retail watchers expect to see similar deals with big-box retailers on major acts?

BEP sold 130,000 copies at Target alone. Though now that Will I Am/Security beat up Perez Hilton, they may have other things to worry about.

Yes. BEP sold 300,000 total copies with 130,000 sales at Target. CD sold 260,000 with that minus iTunes sales at Best Buy. There are also about 1700 Targets compared to about 860 Best Buys
Now you can cue the "b-b-but Black Eyed Peas wasn't the most anticipated album of all time, 14 years, $13 million" responses

Its only disastrous since in his mind 130,000 at Target beats 260,000. And this is with the Peas being a big act and touring/promoting. What a crock of shit really. Its a disastor in this guys mind. I suppose that 130,000 is a huge whopping success and means it did better. Love to live on his fucking brain dead world.

That link asking about worldwide sales.... well I asked it and it says that as of June 8th , Chinese Democracy has moved 4 million copies world-wide. Which is pretty damn good for a band that had no tour , no music video , etc etc.
