I can guarantee it will get at least one more sale this week. I will be buying it later on this morning. I haven't had the chance until now to buy it.
Hahahaha what???
Yeah, i'm disabled and live on a very fixed income so having extra money is very rare.
Hell, I would've bought one and mailed it to you for free.

My GUESS would be around 600-800,000. But that is PURE speculation on my part. I doubt it has hit a million yet. I can't believe how shitty (not super shitty, just not as good as I personally expected) the US sales have been. What the hell is wrong with this fucking country??

If someone could muster up a group of people, 200-1000 hardy individuals, and then identify key radio stations in the main record selling countries of the world, that could be a good thing. If those hardy people were to email once or thrice from different email accounts to each selected radio station weekly (a chosen GN'R track), you will then get Guns on the playlists.
If this action were to coincide with a video release that would be even better.

It looks good. What we need is a definitive list of radio stations worldwide and key stations in the US including an appropriate list of email addresses (for each station) so we can post requests to those radio stations. Once compiled, we can set up BCC copy and paste lists for people to use weekly to request from each station.
Assuming Guns do release Better as a video, it may be best to target this as the song for request.

Well, I hope you got a chance to hear it on MySpace or something, I would have gone nuts not having it for over a month after the release!
Yeah, i listened quite a bit on there before buying it.

To be honest, just releasing the video will probably do wonders for the promotion of this song. Especially if they can get it onto mainstream channels. Do they still have video request channels? Back in the old days we would ring to try to get videos on 'The Box' or whatever it was called

Can't but help thinking broadcasting a one off live show now would also go down a treat...imagine that? CD performed live, with maybe some covers thrown in? Or some of the member's own songs? I appreciate there might be some issues with who would play, but nevertheless it would be awesome promotion.

I still haven't heard "Better" on the radio here in Toronto & I've requested it a few times. Apparently one station (97.7 Htz FM) is playing it though.
Perhaps this Endeavour deserves it's own thread?

No, they didn't. First off, last week, GN'R was at 25, not 34. HDD hasn't done their "Building Album Sales" chart in a few weeks, so the last time they did it, GN'R was at 34. Second, keep in mind these are not final charts.

The record sits at #21 now. Most, if not all, albums will likely see a large decline in sales after the holidays.

Any chart experts know exactly how being certified "gold" and "platinum work"? I know platinum at least used to be based on "units shipped", and I think it still is? So once CD goes gold, could the record company not apply for platinum cert since the rumor is BB bought 1.6 mil of the album? Or is it now all based on units sold?
