It's cool.
GNr didn't realised video yet,and to be real for the most people video is the best advertising (i bought evenescence album when i saw video,i bought metallicas new album when i saw video.

I except first video for "sorry" and then new video  for "this i love"

After that cd will be the biggest seller

btw,who cares new gunsnroses is amazing cd

Bolton - not sure if you're talking about the U.S., but a video means nothing.  Nobody watches videos here anymore, and there isn't anyone that shows them on a consistent basis.  Hell, I didn't even realize that Metallica had a new video.  It's all about interviews and touring.

Maybe our concern over how well CD would do is not anything to be concerned about? Looks like it is doing pretty good so far.

Sorry It's a great album, just disapointed it's not in your face when walking into record stores, surely it would sell more, maybe a few interviews in mags etc? I guess does not matter to me how many copies are sold i have mine for my audio pleasure

I listen to all kinds of music and you can always tell the artist who worked hard at his/her shit and the ones who just put crap out to sell a few 100,000 copies.  Axl worked hard on this record, but so do many hip-hop artists on their's...
Fact is hiphop sells because they spend 20 times as much marketing the image as they do on the music.  They spend tons of money on videos, clothing, interviews up the ass.  They are marketing gurus but hiphop has not being about music for 15 years at least.  This is very common in the U.S. and happens both in music and movies.

The album has sold 30 000 in Finland and is certified Platinum - and going to pass double Platinum (40 000) this week. With Xmas sales etc. it will easily reach 50 000+ sales here, and thats a superb performance here!

And of course because of this, it will #1 on this weeks album chart!
Thats cause the Finish people rock.  Due to the crap music coming from Canada and the U.S. I have turned to other countries to find good music.  And then I came across "Nightwish"  Since then the majority of bands I listen to come from Europe.  The only bands I listen to from Canada and the U.S. now for the most part are GnR and NIN

Where exactly did you find these charts?  They aren't Billboard.

This is just Itunes.  But Itunes is the biggest retailer of music.  It could be possible that GNR will move more physical units since the fanbase is older.
