Yeah, i'm kinda confused.   Undecided

You pre order the album through best buy and its ranking status changes on I-Tunes?

That's not the case... The ranking changes only if you pre-order through iTunes, it's their own chart.

Ok...so you go through I-Tunes and they take you to the best buy site, or do you order from I-Tunes?  And if you order through I-Tunes, they obviously don't send you a cd?

iTunes and Best Buy are separate. You can order it form iTunes and it will download on the 23rd.

For a physical copy you must got through Best Buy in the US.

iTunes charts

Sweden           #5 / #2 (Rock)

Should be #1 in Rock, the album currently at the #1 spot (Dubbel (Deluxe Version, Lena Ph + Orup)) should be in pop (or in Crap).

I'm glad Guns have used the digital age to their advantage and done the iTunes pre-order. Looks like it's going to contribute to some really solid sales.

Great news!  Very cool to hear.

I'm viewing iTunes from my iPhone iTunes app, and I can't even see the album available for pre-order yet, just the single.  Is anyone else having this problem?

U damn moguls and your Iphones hihi hihi hihi hihi

LOL, yeah well, right now it's really pissing me off.  I want to pre-order the album on iTunes...

I figured out that you can't pre-order albums via the iTunes interface on an iPhone or iPod Touch, you have to wait until the album is released before it will even show up as an option.  Just an FYI for anyone else who was confused like me.

This is incredible.  Cheesy

Chinese Democracy is the number#1 song in Spain on Itunes. The album is the number 1(rock) on itunes and number 5 on the main album list.

I'd thought CD needed at least a few weeks out for people to find out how good it is, but man...the anticipation for this album (and band) in good ol' Spain is surprisingly high!

Maybe that's why you got three shows there in 2006. Wink

Lots of GN'R fans around and you don't even know it!  Grin

Well "Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy" is going to crush "AcDc Black Ice" because of Itunes, it panders to a younger audience while Best Buy and other stores world wide are going to be selling to the older fans.
