CD or Vinyl....and other plans for your first listen

I've pre-ordered vinyl but probably won't listen to it.  I like to collect their records unopened.  I also just per-ordered the album on iTunes.

I have pre-ordered one cd and three vinyl online and and pre-ordered one cd in-store. I have taken the day off and I'm free from work the day after. So I'm gonna go out as soon as stores are open and first pick up my mailorder, go downtown in my Chinese democracy longsleeve tour shirt and collect my store booking. After that I'll go to the liqourstore (systembolaget) and buy champange and Jack Daniels. Then just go home, put the vinyl on and blast away and drink and laugh and cry (when I'm drunk)
I need three vinyls because I'm gonna play one, and one to keep and never open and one to give to my girlfriend for christmas, gonna have to buy her a vinylplayer oh well

definitely gonna listen to gnr albums all day saturday. good idea to all who mentioned!

still trying to figure out if any Best Buy's in the philly area are opening at midnight. i called a couple and they had no idea. worst case the one closest to my house is opening at 10am. listening party begins at 10:30!
