UPDATE: Chinese Democracy just went to #1 on the Norwegian overall iTunes chart 

So it's currently at #1 on the general charts in the Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Finnish iTunes stores!

What really will be cool to see is how well the actual record sells when it comes out. What do you guys expect, in today's hostile music environment? Can GN'R still reach the top of the charts? I say hell yeah!

Those that laugh at the song being #1 in countries outside the US often forget that iTunes is international and that GN'R has lots of fans abroad.

So when you think it's funny that GN'R is #1 in some country, you basically find it amusing that GN'R fans are buying the song....

Don't get me wrong, I'm chuffed to bits just to finally get the album - but I like supporting singles but it's pretty pointless if they have no b-sides.

Am I right in thinking that any single for CD is just the single and no b-sides?

I upped the pic of the single I received from amazon.de a couple of minutes ago.

And yes, it is "only" the song Chinese Democracy on it.

I think the 7'' single that will come as a bundle in some stores will have Shackler's Revenge on it too.

I guess after laboring over each of the songs for so long, he doesn't want to toss any of them away on B-Sides - especially since few people bother buying physical singles anymore.

it seems that "Trendsingles" (at least in Germany) do always have some standard layout with the logo from the record label (or smth. similar) on it and that those singles are produced from upcoming album releases which have bigger expections salewise - but not singlewise.....its also an alternative for the download option, something i'd voted for. its simple, not cheap but still physical 
i am not aware how easily those are available im general or specially this one. the german fans had a hard time to get it though.

amazon.de had problems getting the single i think. now they have it in stock and it`s being shipped to everyone, who ordered it

looking at the Uk chart and who is ahead of GnR - its galling, nay sickening at some of the crap....

Pussycat Dolls, TI (who?) Katy Perry (not the lesbian kissing song - good video to that  ), Hero by the X Factor finalists  , Brittany, Alesha Dixon,  Guru Josh, - frankly thats damn embarassing showing the lack of taste in the UK music buying public - kids today ....

Your so so right the UK sucks, Its hardly surprising the radio stations here play for he highest bidder and all the DJs love to brown nose(chris moyles show ft.noel Gallagher , Radio1 which i listen to all day everyday perhaps plays CD once and the killers human(which is boring/plain/indifferent/lackluster)gets played every hour. Its hardly gonna get big with no airplay!
