I believe this says that TV 2 will be broadcasting the Quart Festival next week. But maybe someone can elaborate...
TV 2 sender fra Quart
22.06.2009

i'm swedish and that's norwegian but i guess it pretty much says that they will send from it 3 times per day, it will be interviews and stories with the biggest stars, it will be tuesday, wednesday and thursday, it also says "TV2 the news channel" so maybe it's the CNN of norway
so it's probably not gonna be any concerts, but as i said it's in norwegian and i'm swedish

Thanks CheapJon. I thought it said there would be concert footage, but I guess not.
It looks like it will be interviews...and YouTube.

TV2 will broadcast directly from the Quart Festival in Kristiansand next week.
- This is a great recognition for us, says festival chief Aril Buli.
Several broadcasts a day
The news channel TV2 will broadcast directly 3 times a day from this years Quart. The broadcasts will happen on Odder?ya, right next to Bendiksbukta.
- The news channel wishes to be where most people are, says channel director Thomas Henschien.
He says there will be reports about and interviews with the biggest artists during the broadcasts. The channel will air from the festival on tuesday, wednesday and thursday next week.
- A great recognition
Festival chief Aril Buli sees TV2's commitment as a great recognition for the festival. - Norways biggest brand commiting to Quart like this is very big for us, says Buli. He highlights how important TV2's involvement is to the festival. - This is very good and shows that the national medias have understood more than our local politicians, who have only given us crumbs in support. Now we're hoping for good weather and lots of people, says Buli.
Im very tired, so don't knock the translation, haha. It's quite a literal translation here and there, but what the hell.
I don't think they will show much of the music, mainly like mood reports from the crowd and interviews with the artists from what I understand.

^^ Thanks for the translation.
I think this says that this radio station will be doing the same...
QuartFM ? i en radio n?r deg hele uka
23.06.2009

yeah could be, it says they will have live airings between 3pm and 7pm...but it doesn't say they will play any music, so it'll probably just be interviews n stuff there as well.

Quart Festival Press Release
On June 30th, 2009, legendary rocker Slash, will take the stage in Kristiansand Norway, backed by an unforgettable lineup of performers, sure to make this year's Quart Festival a once in a lifetime, historic rock event.
For the opening night of the festival, Slash has invited friends and fellow rockers Ozzy Osbourne, acclaimed rock drummer Jason Bonham, John 5, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, among others, to join him on stage to perform some of music's greatest rock n roll hits: Sweet Child o' Mine, Crazy train and BlackDog, just to name a few. Never again will you be able to see this lineup of people perform such an epic and momentous show.
This is also one of the only shows Slash will be performing this summer, as he has specifically taken time off of recording his new solo album to do Quart Festival. Dont miss the chance to see an outstanding show, one night only, at The 2009 Quart Festival.

That will be awesome. I am super excited as well about hearing Slash do Black Dog. Wonder who will get the vocals on that as its a challenging song in that regard.
