Hate to keep posting - sometimes I feel like I'm beating a dead horse - but 'sofia' at Best Buy just e-mailed me back that she doesn't have any information on this 'product' and that I should feel free to call their sales department if I have further questions...unfuckingbelievable. 

How the hell do these dolts expect people to pre-order this for delivery next week, with no description?  It's like buying a $5 'grab bag' at the fair, but you could open it and find 20 cents worth of 'swedish fish' candy. 

PS - doubt its Japanese version, isn't marked 'import'...they are pretty good about that...and why the price?

If this helps, HMV in the UK are advertising this:

which is essentially the album on vinyl only, remastered. It's a 180gm record, which essentially means it's heavier and sustains less wear. The sound quality is also supposed to be a lot better on 180 gm vinyl. My guess would also be that it features the original 'rape' sleeve too.

I think it's safe to order it, as the BBC, when reporting the Chinese Democracy release date mentioned a vinyl re-issue of Appetite.

This is a CD...Vinyl is available, and has separate code...it does appear to line up price/date wise with Japanese version 'on sale' at reduced price, and according to other boards I tried to search for answer, this IS what it is.  I am surprised that BB didn't label it 'import' as they usually do - I believe it is a legal requirement.  Who knows...

Its only on bestbuy.com. Its not a in store thing. I called them up and they don't know whats on it or anything about it. They now have all the albums up as (SHM) for 39.99 they are cd form. And they have AFD (Limited Edition) for 22.99 and its on back order. I want it. But i want to know what i'm buying lol. I don't understand how they can put all this stuff on there and not know anything about.

BB did not mark this as (import) - you should return it and go nuts...perhaps you will get some bonus bucks for your trouble...
