Ahhhhhhhhh shietttttt son, that was sweet!

I woke up my mom to come watch with me, she was excited too!

And that's saying something because she's a snob.

It must've only played in certain markets. I just watched the show in Phoenix and it didn't air. Strange that they would skip the 5th biggest city in the U.S..

With all due respect, why are you guys waiting and watching to see it on TV, through SNL?  You can see the commercial, right here!

I was already intending to watch SNL anyway. Wink I wanted to see McCain's cameo, and the skit on Olbermann. Not too bad of a show tonight anyway, would've been better with a Macgruber or two, but the lovemaking DVD skit was pretty good.

Because it's better on TV!  It has a different feel to it.

Why do people go to sporting events instead of just watching it on TV?

Good promo, though it looks really cheap. I guess it still does the job.

You don't need a Obama budget or time slot to get the message out, it's of the moment such an easy ad to make, in many ways the simple ones are the best - KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid.  ok

I love the "KISS" saying. I said it in a meeting once, and I don't think most of the people there had heard it before (which kind of surprised me). I think most of them thought I was calling them stupid.  hihi

As far as getting a message out. How great would it be if GN'R performed on SNL on the 22nd? With the time of the show, they would first perform around midnight (release day). That would be a great way to get the press going.

Depending on where you live, you may not have missed it. I don't think it played in all markets - it didn't play here in Phoenix.

Thats why I like 'E' Channel...SNL is much better mid-day on a Monday or Tuesday, as a re-run.  There are much better things to do on a Saturday night, at least in NY.

saw it on this site, thanks to Jarmo.

I don't see the whole cheap thing about it.

It's simple, and effective, that is what marketing is all about.

I love the clip. Very nicely done.
