I don't know about a music video, but I'd say a second single is extremely likely.

Who was it that talked about a music video being in the works?
I remember reading it, but I'm too excited about the Obama victory to think clearly!
Was it a Geffen spokesman? GN'R's manager? I specifically remember reading about a music video and an upcoming tour.

No, I remember what the article said, I just didn't remember who said it.
The article mentioned "Scraped" as a previously unknown song, but not as a video.
Who knows though. Whichever video they pick, it will surely be amazing!

Well... I wouldnt say fact if I was you...because they did NOT say that scraped would be the video. They mentioned scraped as a previously unheard song.

I not sure that "Monumental" is the word. If I hadn't been watching the internet for 11 years I wouldn't even know that Axl was still alive. Haven't seen any promotion in Australia apart from one radio station and some brief mentions on breakfast TV.

I agree. Here in Spain it seems like there is only one rock band in the world: AC/DC. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but it's sad to see that a legendary band like Guns N' Roses is not getting a single word from any TV programme, radio, etc. And if they do that when CD is finally out there, I guess they would illustrate the information with some old video with Slash and the other guys...

Exactly. AC/DC and don't forget Metallica.
They are running a poll in Universal Spain about who's your favorite Metallica member for God's sake!! I mean, is that more relevant than GNR (a band that was 33242312313 bigger than Metallica in Spain 16 years ago) releasing the first studio album since 1993?
I have friends which they've never, ever bought an AC/DC album or never attended an AC/DC show. Now they would cause themedia is talking about AC/DC in all kinds of news programs and night shows. AC/DC is indeed a huge band, but GNR was bigger - in Spain - long time ago. It's amazing how people forget.
See, when I talk to people about GNR here they all seem to jump in the "GNR sucks, AXL is a prick, bring Slash back" bandwagon. They all blame Axl for every negative thing that's ever had to do with GNR, and they never give credit to AXL for anything possitive. They are the ones who say" Slash, what a guitarist" "oh, Knocking on heaven's door is great with Slash on it" "Slash was the look and feel of GNR"...And Axl, Axl was just the whiny singer.
I guess for them it's COOL to like Slash and not Axl.

I was in too much of a good mood last night to answer this, but now: Do you know as a fact that "Scraped" will be a video, despite it not being mentioned once as such? Impressive. Which voice in your head is your source? For us mere mortals, we will have to wait and see it through.
