From what I've read, CD will be available as a download as well as in vinyl and CD format. So there you will be able to buy it for your Ipod  I've also read there are ways around the copy protection, but that stuff I'm not sure about. |

Sucks to be me  I live in South Korea, so it will take around a week for my copy to be delivered. I was hoping a friend could rip his copy and send it to me it so I could at least hear it on release day. That's my master plan out the window... If I am lucky, it may arrive before the end of November.... And no, I am not buying the download... My copy of Angel down is on its last use thanks to emergency reformats causing itunes to think I have a new PC, and of course it then proceeds to put the tunes on my 'new' ipod! Bastards! |

God no. At the risk of sounding unpopular, I have NO qualms about using a torrent download if I cannot get past CD copy protection. It sucks that I don't get complete control over the actual format it ends up in, unless I download in FLAC etc., but I'm not buying the CD and then buying it on iTunes. Having said that, I've purchased plenty of copy-protected CDs and never had an issue with ripping any of them. |

Contraband had some sort of copy-protection that garbled the sound if you loaded it on iTunes... but there was a simple way of avoiding the copy protetction. If you give it a few weeks, I'm sure the computer geeks will post a way around it all!
I agree with Howard, if I buy the CD... I wouldn't hestitate to download the torrent if it doesn't work on iTunes.
