That's great to know.  I listen to KLOS, KROQ and 98.7 in LA every day for about an hour total and I have only heard CD twice since the release.  Once it was on KROQ and once on 98.7.  I've never heard CD or the mentioning of CD on KLOS.

I've heard two complete versions and I caught it once halfway through.

Twice on KROQ and once on STAR for me.

KLOS is never going to play it.  They are so anti-Axl you wouldn't believe it.  They even have SLASH in their top friends...

Uncle Joe needs to be rubbed out.  He takes every opportunity to say something nasty about Axl.  If someone were to show him the picture of Axl visiting kids in the hospital in England, he would find some way to belittle Axl.

The KROQ DJ's always try to crack jokes about how long it took this thing to come out, but they all say it rocks so that's good I guess.

The fact that the song is stalling on Mainstream Rock is a little disconcerting, honestly.  But, it's good that its still gaining increased spins on Active Rock.

I wonder if the stalling on Mainstream Rock will make a difference as to when the second single is released.

I think we all know that there are going to be much better, much bigger singles off of this album

CD is a classic buzz single, released to announce that the album is coming and create awareness of that.  I don't think it was ever expected to be a runaway, smash hit that stayed at # for 2 months.  There are other songs on the album for that 

I thought CD was a great idea for a first single to announce the album, because it's aggressive and fairly short.  But it's not really a radio friendly crossover tune.  I always figured they would release another single within a few weeks of the album's release, probably Better or one of the unheard songs

Things have stayed the same on the charts for the last couple days, but don't panic! Chinese has soared up to the current position. Usually it takes a few weeks just to get into the top 10. We can't give up we gotta keep requesting it on all of your local stations.

ive been calling and texting K rock all the time to play it but im hardly hearing it now....but when the dj announced they were playing it last night they were like (we are getting flooded with calls and requests for Chinese Democracy)  then play it!!!!

I heard something complimentary about GN'R today on KLOS.

Cynthia Fox asked some caller if he had played the new Guns N' Roses track "Shackler's Revenge" on Rock Band 2.  The guy said "no" and she told him to go play it, it's a brilliant song!

I requested the song on their MySpaces and I had my friends call in and request it.  I hope they will break down soon and play some current GN'R!
