Just seen a CD advert on tv here in the UK. Its was on at half time of a football game between England & Germany (ENGLAND WON!). Anyway, the advert started with the old logo and SCOM playing, then the screen flickered and it said "Transmission interupted" then the screen had the years from like maybe 1991 to 2008 scrolling and in the fore ground, there was images of whats been going on, then they started playing CD and, the voice over was going on about the most antisipated album of all time........ OUT MONDAY!

Saw this on tv tonight at half time in the England/Germany game! Was sitting in the pub with the lads, right in front of the big screen. We were just talking and that and then the Sweet Child riff came on and our heads all just turned to watch. Sweet! Cheesy

Not sure if this is the right place to post but last night there was an ad on TV  in Australia for CD..My mate told me it just had the intro for CD and said out on the 22nd..Just had the star and the little red guys LOL..was on at about 7:45 PM last night. ok

Best Buy's senior entertainment officer, Gary Arnold

Thus far, Best Buy has run a relatively restrained marketing campaign for ?Chinese Democracy.? Just a few days before its release, there were no signs announcing the album inside the West Hollywood location (there was a sign outside the store). The album is now up for streaming on MySpace, but not playing into the hype was the design, says Arnold.

?It all starts this weekend,? Arnold says. ?We?re trying to time everything for the grand release this Sunday. There wasn?t a giant buildup, in terms of over-promising. We wanted the music to stand on its own.?
