Use Your Illusion I (1991)

They're probably making one now, or already have it made.

Or maybe they won't make one?

It should be a simple rocking video, with some glossiness in the video if they wish.

Nothing too complex though.

Not sure if anyone has commented on this before...

Most bands release videos to MTV, Scuzz, Kerrang etc weeks before the singles are actually available in the shops / online.

These days music television is almost treated like radio - i.e. promotion of the song through numerous plays prior to the release.

I remember a couple of years ago when Korn came back with a new album and Scuzz played their new video constantly for something daft like 4 hours.

Has a video been recorded? When will one come out? Do you think it is likely to feature the band performing or will it be more artistic with actors etc?

Hey, i would be happy as pig in shit just to see Axl and GNR in a new video and in the spotlight again, that to me is pleasing,

my bet is still on the video to be for the next single, to come out around the time the album drops.

as long as i don't hear otherwise i asume that cd is just the first teaser before they release a big gun...

i think it would be virtually impossible to release a single with no video.........think of the music channels on tv playing the song,
would it be a blank screen with music...............dont think so!
i rekon it could be a simple video consisting of recent concert footage or the guys in the studio

it works differently nowadays. i think metallica already released 4 singles from their last album. they didn't have a video for each one.

im not a metallica fan so i have no idea, what happens when they play the song on mtv/kerrang tv for example? or is the song just played on radio

ps...i like metallica but i dont follow them like GN'R (just to clear things up)  ok

i guess some of those songs are only played on the radio, some (or at least one) on radio AND tv. it's a much broader approach. by the way, when did you see the last music video on mtv?

I have digital cable from comcast and I've seen AC/DC on VH1, New Metallica on ON DEMAND, plus MTV2, VH1 classic has played both artist i've just mentioned so I think it's pretty safe to say that probaly MTV2, VH1, and VH1 classic will play the video.
