Looking at the UK Itunes store, Chinese Democracy is already 23rd on the albums chart!
Right now it's 15. If it cracks the top ten it'll be displayed on the homepage which will likely mean more people being aware of it's status and even more pre-orders. |

Cool, thanks, I didn't know about this. As far as pre-order incentives go, this is pretty swell seeing as it's as cheap as anywhere else for the UK version. It clearly states 7". I'm gonna order the CD and vinyl separately to get two copies  As to whether it extends to store orders, I'm guessing not but a guess is all it is. BTW, as Universal generally release their CDs in super jewel boxes over here now, is this what CD will come in? They're such buggers to get the inlays out of! |

Does anyone know if you get the 7" single from HMV both online and instore or is it just through online pre-orders?
as far as i know it is a limited offer 'first come first served' to pre-order chinese democracy online. i dont know the quantities but it is a special 7" vinyl exclusive to HMV. |

I have pre-ordered the vinyl myself and, just to double check etc on the validity of the above link, I asked about it. Unfortunately the woman I spoke to wasn't sure but has passed it on to her supervisor who, I am assured, will call me back. |
