International release dates & pre-ordering (non-US)

Chinese Democracy LP for pre-order on hmv uk 

its listed as 2 disc       could be a typo though!

I think they mean a double record, which means the record spilt onto two vinyls.

 could be right.       UYI2 was only 14 tracks and that was a double vinyl.......

if you pre-order they only take the money when the item is in stock and it is processed. this is the same with all the main suppliers i have experienced. i figure they would process on sat the 22nd

Seriously, I'm from Spain too and I didn't have any problem to preorder it, although they weren't really sure about the date they'll got it. They told me that it might be the 25th or 26th...

So far I've seen nothing regarding the release date. I've check universal spain (even sent them an email but got no response) and while Chinese Democracy is listed, they don't have a release date.

I've contacted Mariskal as well since they run a poll on their site a few days ago. They mentioned Universal confirmed the release of Chinise Democracy but not date has been set. I sent them an email and guess what? got no response.

I've also checked Fnac.es. There are no records of Chinese Democracy on their site.

I've also checked MTV.es and also www.los40.com. There's a bit of info on GNR and the album but no mention of a release date.


Im checking though every day. I'll post the data as soon as I know.

El Corte Ingl?s is like harrods (not as big of course) they sell everything. I'd think fnac.es is the retailer to watch, but like I said, you can check Corte Ingles and lets us know.

i know we have waited for so long that we want to know for sure what day the cd will be in our hands, but people seem too worried, once the cd its out then major cd stores will have it , for example Spain is a big country , you will find the cd easly in there , dont worry if theres no "official" announcement, you really think that the album wont be everywhere give or take a day or two?

that running order is great ... I always try to segment songs on on album and this is almost the same as I did... like sides 1 are more of a straight and sides 2 are more of epic ... The most 'interesting' segment for me is Disc 2 - Side 1 ... it seems like most experimental part of the album.

Although www.gunsnroses.de has November 22nd as a release date, Universal Germany confirmed to the store manager here that it will be available on November 21st.
