Could anyone help me out with where I'll be able to buy CD in Finland on a sunday? I've only just moved here and not being a native I haven't got a clue where to go. Kiitos.

I think most of the record stores are open on sunday as it is "Christmas time" already when the album is coming out. At least Levykauppa ?x gets the album on friday but I'm not sure if they're open on sunday to sell it. If you order it by mail before friday, you get it on monday morning. Or you can go there and ask if they're willing to sell it a little earlier

And of course! "Tunnelin levy" at the Helsinki Railway Station is always open on sundays, but if you don't live in Helsinki or near it's a bit of a problem.

Hey Jarmo, where did you confirm the release date for Mexico?? I went to Tower Records and Mix Up (the 2 largest cd stores in Mexico) and there are no news regarding the release date.. Thanks in advance

you should know not to trust them  , well in fact they do a good job in some mix ups, but sometimes if you dont ask the right person they do not have an idea of certain cds.

you know they are just opening best buys here? well the other day i went and ask the employes that were outside about  Chinese Democracy and about the exclusive deal , they told me " sure, we will have it but you just be able to get it if you are an "exclusive" member of best buy, you can be one by getting this "card" (i think its like a credit/special disscounts card), do you want to make an aplicattion to have one?"     of course i told them not, they had no idea of the cd they just wanted to sell me their card or whatever.   

MF?s!!! They suck!!! You should throw them some eggs or some shit like that, they want to take advantage of the release.

Is the CD coming out in france and when ? does anyone know radios that do or will play new GNR songs ?

I haven't had time to follow GNR since last May and i haven't got a clue.

It's coming out Nov. 24 but la Fnac and Alapage now announce it for Nov. 22. The French official release date is still Nov. 24. Oui FM played the single Chinese Democracy every hour for a day, but it's not getting much radio airplay now, it's a bit too "hard rock" for radios here.

I called several stores last week to hear the date of the release in Norway.
They all say the 24th, though they might get it Friday/Saturday, they were not "allowed" to start selling it untill Monday.
I do hope one of them will "bend the rules" still : )

I've pre-ordered one cd in-store and one online and now three vinyl ( oh yes they are doubble albums ) online at www.ginza.se
Funny thing is that onlinestore don't have the album listed. You have to call them to find out if they have it. But now you know. And I know thanx to Steve Mckagan.

I just went to my local record store, actually it's the only record store in this city after Moe's Music quit, and the owner said he might get the album a week after the actual release date. Shit! And I actually had hopes to get the album on friday.

I gotta do a little trip to a bigger city to get it on sunday..
