International release dates & pre-ordering (non-US)

Question for the UK people, are you guys pre-ordering the album and if so where from? Or are you planning on just walking into a store on the 24th and buying it?
I usually pre-order all my albums from Play.com and recieve them on the day or a couple of days before but I have a horrible feeling with this album it may be different and knowing my luck i'll recieve it late, the problem with getting it from a store (Like HMV, Zavvi) though is that the may sell out on release day?? Sorry if this has been discussed.

iv pre-ordered a copy off amazon but ill also be at hmv chester on the monday morning queing for a few copys aswell. if they sell out then ill hunt EVERY music outlet in the UK TILL I GET SOME COPYS

HMV Chester? Really? That's the one i'll be hitting up too if my pre order from Play.com doesn't come on time, hell i've waited long enough for this album I don't mind having a spare one for the car! I would go to Tesco but I think they order like 3 copys of every album and unless you're there mega early (The stores are 24 hours!) you will miss out.

tesco are 24hr but with the release on mon the store is closed on sun night so it will open at 8am...........ill be there from 6
my local hmv opens at 10 and all the rest at 9

Yeah that's true, forgot about the Sunday not being 24hr at Tesco  surely big stores like HMV and Zavvi will order mass amounts of this album in though? Or will it be like the Harry Potter books where they just sell out in minutes!

im hoping they have enough albums to not sell out till at least midday but thats why im gonna get there early just incase. if i have to wait till my amazon order comes (which they said will be 25th/26th) then ill jus get the download of itunes

Not really a possibility because of sunday trading hours.
Stores will only be open 11-5ish, although come midnight, they would be able to open again as it would no longer be 'sunday'.

they could do a pre-order where you pay in full in advance and then pick the item up at midnight with the till receipt or some voucher maybe. that way there would be no trading as such, only the picking up of previously purchased goods.

Megastore and cdon.com, the two swedish online stores I've found so far only sell the cd not vinyl And I need the vinyl! Several copies. Anyone got an idea about how two obtain the vinyl in Sweden? I'm going in store tomorrow and try from there. And I want the single too is that one out yet?
