93.3 WMMR in philly has a very negative view towards Axl. Pierre just played the song and said he just feels that if Axl apologized all would be forgiven. Several fans feel the same way, but i've heard some major positive feedback from people and some other DJs regarding the song. Pierre said he hopes his station does not support someone that did this to the city and that has homophobic views. He then said it's up to the "men in suits" to decide if it gets added to the regular rotation.

He then read responses directly from the blog i posted above (they were about 50-50). anyone that has a free minute should post. i wouldn't try to argue - you're not gonna convince people. but just say how it's a great song that you want to hear. let's help make them HAVE to play it. 

Philly is the 5th or 6th largest market in the U.S. and WMMR is the most popular rock station here. the more it gets played the better.

No shit.  Jesus, I had tickets to five shows on that tour that were cancelled.  And guess what?  Exactly none of those cancellations had anything to do with me, personally.  So, like a mature adult, I put the situation into its proper context and moved on.  All those bitter people in Philly need to do the same.

I've spent A LOT of time in Philly. I'd be happy to tell it to their face.

To be completely honest, the childish, bullshit, entitled attitude every fucking neanderthal that lives there seems to have sickens me.

It's been six years. Grow up. All I ever hear from most Philly people is whining about something, and it gets really fucking old. All the shit that is wrong with that city but they are still concerned with a concert that didn't happen 6 years ago.
