This is from Saul over at buckethead.tk.

(p.s. - B is ALL over the album - and even songs he isn't fully 'featured' on - he still pretty much created the music for) "

It could mean anything.. just a comment on his contributions maybe.

At this point I don't care if he is or not, I'm sure it's a bunch of crap though.

All this news is drowning him out.

Obviously just about his contributions to the CD.

That being said, BH is awesome and I'm seeing him live in a few days!

Kinda hard to drown out a guy who wrote mind blowing solos on the Blues and TWAT isn't it? To answer your question, stranger things have happened. Why would they release a statement about his album contributions? Axl said he was still on the album. If he is not part of the band how will he be featured in promo materials, videos, etc?

Probably is. Anyone that buys the album and reads the liner notes is probably going to see his name plastered all over the booklet for writing credits. It's not like this album is exactly low key, either, so Bucket will probably find a lot more attention falling on himself.

Personally though, I'd like to see BBF stay, and if Bucket would be replacing Robin, it would be a sonic mess to have to shred guitarists sharing leads, so time will tell.

Its just about his contributions and the fact that did work on some of the songs. Being a Buckethead fans site of course they will be saying he pretty much  created the music for it.

lol Grin, looks like there will be another breed of youtube poster, along with the "GN'R aint shit without Slash" crew,  there will be the "Buckethead IS GN'R"crew joining the haters *cough*losers!

Please let the original Madagascar solo be on the album drool

Me too. Over at gnrevolution there are alot of BH fans that feel differently from me but they're always cool to me even though I really can't stand BH.

You do know that Bucket has a shit ton of credits for writing on the album, right? I saw GNR with BH in 2002 and it was amazing. We know that GNR tried to get him to re-join in the past and maybe this time it worked? Bucket deserves to be a part of this now that the ball is rolling.

Sorry, perhaps I got my leaks mixed up.Either way,it is undeniable how much BH contributed to the album. At this point, Robin is publicly showing zero interest in being a part of GnR.

All it would take is Jarmo or Fernando shooting this down or maybe they feel this rumor isn't even worth commenting on and we are reading too much into the statement.
