but does anyone know what the people are saying in the first 50+ seconds?
I've have always heard this same voice throughout the Intro that says something that sounds like "wowsers"!?!?!  And I keep thinking its Axl  i think its the whispers from Lost  |

I think Axl is even more brilliant than we give him credit for.
U release CD, which is a great song, but I think we'd all agree it is nowhere near the best.
So CD is already a smash, so the next single, say Better will be better than CD and the album elevates, THEN u release If The World or one of the big epic ballads and then the album just smashes through the roof.
I always hated it when bands put their best song out first, cause then the album descends and loses momentum. put a good song out first and then follow it up with the great songs and the album archs and peaks!

Love the track, the different drum patterns and guitar overdubs completely change the feel established with the other versions we've heard. Did anyone else think of Dire Straits when they heard the new guitar parts over the verse sections?  |
