Although I thought "Better" might have been the sure fire hit to release first.  I am so convinced this is the way to kick off the most anticipated album of all time.  Title Track with a cool intro and kicks ass

The thing is, they could have chosen any number of the songs we've heard already and I would have been fine. They're all high quality, kick-ass songs and we haven't even heard the final versions yet. But I agree with you that Chinese Democracy makes great sense as the first single. Title track of one of the most anticipated albums of all time....Hell yeah people!

On a side note, I don't think ITW or TWAT will be the second single. Maybe one of the songs we haven't heard or "Street of Dreams" would be my guess

I love the song but I am indeed surprised its the first single. I just want to see GNR maximize their potential success.

But you know what, fuck it. Why should I or we care anymore what people think? We have been here for years supporting the band, going thru the ups and downs, etc. Who cares if some "expert" or whoever thinks of the song and album?
 I used to always say: as long as I and the GNR fanbase are happy and excited about the record then that is all that matters. Its time to get back to that train of thought!

The clip is different from the leaked version. It is better than the leaked version, although they are very simulair though.

During the intro, there's a heavy drum and floor tom hit, and in the leaked version there isn't.

So maybe I was wrong and the final thing will be different from what was leaked?
