Does anyone think, this was a part of the marketing strategy? Putting something on a website and taking it down shortly afterwards seems like a marketing trick to me. Anyways it spread around the internet and created some buzz.

I don't see it as a marketing trick since nobody outside GnR forums will notice it, ok maybe Blabbermouth or whatever.
I think someone got hold of the clips and made them available to the public while it wasn't intended to be out as of now.

I just hope to see stuff on TV or as an ad in a magazine. That would make people outside the forums be aware of the fact that the record is coming.

Don't interpret too much and don't expect conspiracies around each and every time something happens in the GnR world.

I think it was purposely done for our benefit. It's their way of giving us something (a little sneak peak).
