« on: October 18, 2008, 11:30:37 AM »

as im getting excited for the release of CD I got to wondering bout all the recording the band has done and one thing that sticks in my head was back in Toronto 2002 show wich was one of the many shows ive seen, Axl told the crowd he had re-recorded appetitie.  you think will ever hear any of that?  Im not taalking bout sweet child from bid daddy.  any body else at that show remember that?

i wasn't at the show and i know about it. it's no secret. it's rumored that Axl made the new guys re-record AFD as an audition. whether it's true or not..... we know shit.

if it happens it would be really cool... will it... probably not. i don't know any band to re-record their debut album and re-release it... unless there is one that has done it... i doubt we will hear any of it. it takes away from CHINESE DEMOCRACY!!!   smoking

I don't see the point in re-recording it unless to practice for the road. It would be pointless to release as there is now way it could compare. Axl's voice isnt as strong as those days, and the other members had nothing to do with the writing process. It's one of the greatest rock n roll albums of all time, leave it alone.
