If "Street of Dreams" is "the Blues," I wonder if some of the lyrics were changed? I think he only says that line once, as it is. What if the lyrics were changed to...
"That's what they call...the street of dreams."

Why?
Didn't the song always have the line where Axl sings "street of dreams"?

Right, but it's used just once, and he says "the blues" several times, that's why I was wondering if some of the lyrics might have changed. Find out soon enough, I guess.

On the live versions both phrases were sung, so....

Incidently, that song is a sure fire hit!
I cant wait to hear it on the radio, I reckon it must be the most mainstream of all the songs on the album and it will be huuuuuge

oh gosh i can't believe it's finally happening.. i was so obsessed with CD two years ago and it fell short then.. now two years later it's finally happening! i'm sad i'm no longer involved in the GnR boards for this epic and legendary time in GnR's history as i once used to, but i'm as happy as any fan knowing that it's really happening and that come november we will be able to hold CD in our hands!!!

I thought that back in 2002 when I first heard it. I'll still hold to that.

The tracklist is beyond great. Simply brilliant. it's jam-packed with instant hits and classics, and will take the world's attention by storm. I haven't heard all the songs, but the ones I have heard bode for the greatest GN'R record ever. Well worth the wait, even if you only look at the ones they have played live. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
P.S.: Chinese Democracy as an opener is brilliant. Welcome to the Jungle 2.

Anyone else wonder how they came up with the order of the list?
I have a picture in my head of Axl playing each song and trying to decide at the very end notes, which song would flow better immediately afterwards....and I'm thinking this went on about 100,000 times over the last few years

or
Fernando
, could you please help me with a question?
we (members from perfectcrimgnr.com) are going to make some T-Shirts to celebrate the Chinese Democracy release.
We selected the layout, and in the back of the T-Shirt, we are gonna put the tracklist from the album, BUT, we are in doubt with two songs:
What is the right name of the songs:
R
H
iad
AND
the Bedouins or Riad
N'
the Bedouins
Catcher
In
The Rye or Catcher
N'
The Rye
The doubt appeared after the updates from BestBuy.
Thank you guys!
couldn?t you help me?!

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about the inclusion of "This I Love" in the tracklist.
Fact is that many of us, for years, expected this song never to be heard, and had no idea if it even existed. All we had was Axl's statements about it back in 1993, and here were are, 15 years later, and the song has not only survived but is about to be released and heard by everyone. I find this to be nothing short of a miracle!

By the way, chinesedemocracy.co.uk lists the song as "Catcher In The Rye".
To answer the question asked above.
