I've been thinking about my first listen to CD come Nov 23rd.  Will I listen straight through as intended or go to Scraped, Sorry and This I Love first?  My impulse is to listen to these tracks I've never heard in any form first, but I feel like I should hold out and listen to the whole album in its proper sequence first.  What a dilemema!   Wink

There should be no dilemma... listen to the album front-to-back the way it is ordered.  Give the new songs their first listen in the intended sequencing, it's the only way to go!

Yea, skipping over tracks to get to others on first listen seems like some sort of mortal sin.

Dear ,
Thank you for your email.

Since Chinese Democracy is being released on Sunday Nov. 23,  we plan on having the Toronto Superstore located at 333 Yonge Street open at 12 midnight on Saturday Nov.22.  I would suggest you contact the store to confirm these plans closer to that date.  They can be reached at their toll free telephone number of 1-800-567-8468.

If I can be of further assistance, feel free to contact me.
Regards,

Yeah I'm planning on 5. One for myself and the others for friends who otherwise would not check out CD.

I'm buying a ton, but a lot of those are for giveaways on WickedInfo.com (we've already announced 14, and are in the works to more than double that). But for friends and co-workers, I'll probably get another 10 or so.

I posted this in the Dead Horse section already, but I have seen that most of the people in the Madison area are going to the West Side Best Buy, I was going to go the East Side or Janesville, but I will change my plans to hopefully meet up with some of you.
I (well, actually my parents, I am the manager) own a bar just outside of Stoughton (just a stone?s throw from Madison) and we could all meet up there and listen to the album and discuss it upon that glorious Sunday. It would be pretty cool to have a GNR day/night with all of us in the area at the pub. The Packers play on Monday that week, so we could enjoy the day of Chinese Democracy, and not worry about Aaron fucking up again.
